@Mark Gerhard Good luck. You are going to need it. I base this on Jagex closing 8Realm, Stellar Dawn taking a dev pause (cancel?), Ace of Spades got destroyed by the gamers' reviews & the critics (ver .75 buildandshoot has bigger ppl base?!), Carnage Racing failing on Facebook (a captive audience to be sure) and Transformers Universe waaaay behind on development. Oh, and as an afterthought RS 3. And to put salt in the wound, you still have not filed your financial report (should be an interesting read).

It is going to get worst for Jagex before it will get better. The ppl base that have left are not going to be recommending your game which is a very difficult trend to reverse. You have clearly divided the ppl base (awesome job btw as I have never seen such a frustrated community - OK, WarZ community maybe).

For all your pretty words, this sentence annoys me the most => "But crucially, 2013 is about ensuring that your hard-earned legacy is respected – everything you've done and worked so hard to achieve will remain as amazing and relevant as it has ever been." What do you consider an RS legacy? Working hard to earn the skill levels that contribute to my game play or simply wait for Jagex to offer free XP and/or simply buy it from SoF? You have already devalued any potential RS legacy (in game and in the real world).

And when you run through the family slapping some and kicking others in the groin, you cannot be surprised when they turn away from you. EOC was a major kick in the groin to the Veteran Players who actually earned their high level combat status and took the risks and losses. So they are quietly leaving in droves. They know that Runescape has no respect for them, or it would not have treated them as badly as it did. They also know that everytime Runescape tells them that they must "adjust" to EOC, it means their chances of having NON-EOC worlds sinks ever lower.And they leave. Until we get an update or message that NON-EOC worlds will be created for us..we have nothing left to enjoy. As for "adjusting"...dream on. Our resentment just increases every time we hear that. We do NOT see that "EOC opens the Runescape landscape for future improvements". We think that Dreck only leads to more Dreck. And we don't want to be involved. Not happy with os

@6W2 - I am a veteran, over a couple of accounts, i've been here 10 years, and I have adapted and tried to use whatever jagex throw at me to my advantage, jagex WILL not release an old server, because they are focussing on the Future. which is right they should.

Just get rid of the January 14th combat update and I will be a happy camper!!

Higher tiers of armour should give an advantage, but it should not make you invincible to lower tiers.

Nor is it appropriate to lock players out of content they previously had access to for many years, because their equipment has been rendered obsolete by the exponential curve on equipment.

I mean seriously, you guys gave the Master Wand a 2% crit bonus to have it remain useful and desirable, at the expense of being a "little bit" less accurate than a virtus wand.
But with the January 14th update, the difference in accuracy between the Master Wand and the Virtus wand went from roughly 15% to 250%.... and thats just wrong and goes for all equipment.

Pretty much all equipment has the same story to tell, and a lot of it has been rendered completely defunct and useless because of it. O_o :P :@ :O

MAIN THINGS TO BE FIXED IN EARLY 2013!

1.gambling /flower clans and hosting clans! skills, where made to prevent this from happening jagex one simple click and you remove flowers , as far as i know mithril seeds are not needed for anything in runescape at this current moment.

2.RWT -Real world trading- This in my opinion is a big task to sort out , but iam willing to provide you with many sites i know of that does sell rsgp and , or involved in this illegal activity , these will be sent upon your request via mail , over 200 large companies are listed on my computer at this present time , something ive been working on for a while.

3. EOC -Evolution of combat- i think 85% of the legitmate player including myself would like to see a real form of multi pking like there use to be , i dont think you understand how that one small part has affected the community not just on the website but out game on 3rd party websites , clans were notorious by creating there own websites and competing and it was a strong part of runescape , if you ask me you have these clan leaders and clan members to thank for at least 45% of your community population, if it wasnt for these pking would not of existed how it did , please fix this issue , im sure you will come up with something, maybe let us know some ideas for this ?

But also its up to the runescape community to keep you entertained , think about it you ban all the bug abusers but without them 1/2 the runescape team would not have jobs :p
