all i know is that when i go to lumby via home portal and find the same two bots there collecting from other bots that tele there and report 3 -5 times a day for weeks and they are still in w44 it makes me wander if you are really doing anything . And then when I as a member with several capes see someone who has played less than 5 months with similar stats and has him tell me "if you have enough money you can get anything" and see other members my level botting iron ore to get another cape i really must ask how much you are doing to stop it and how much their monthly dues or fees are part of why they are still here.
I am glad to see that you are still working on it but please don't say this unless it is true we have been lied to too many times most of your loyal members are here still only because we love the game but I have quit recommending it to anyone and till the bots are gone feel i can not in good faith tell a new person it is worth the fight with bots to get a skill of any kind nor do I want them to think buying a bot is how it is done or that you can sof lamp your way to a cape without ever earning it or as in soul wars get a slayer cape without ever killing a single monster risking the loss of your items or even being over level 3
So I do hope this time you are telling the truth (since mod mark didn't post this) and things will get better too bad you had to mess up so much before deciding to listen to those who actually play the game

Ive Been playing runescape for at least 10 years off and on. i remember when party hats were a big deal at 200k, i remember when staking was the thing to do. Ive been through many surprises including losing all my things on runescape classic during the optional item transfer when runescape 2 was released and the runescape team decided to deny my access to classic after i didnt play for x amount of time. I lived through it. Its incredibly hard to be heard but im going to try again.

I enjoy the new combat system hands down, its fresh, much more realistic in regards to movement. I do not enjoy the fact that I can kill things with certain items (steel dragons with master wand and seercul/black dragons) 2 weeks ago and now i cant even dent them with those set ups. but i understand the team's working on that.
In regards to Botting., its been around from the start, i remember being so frustrated on classic trying to mine coal in the mining guild that i quit for awhile due to bots over running the place. There are some Hugely obvious areas where theres 40-50 bots on every world at any given time. they have 200 combat so theyve been at it for awhile and they all dress the same. hard to miss. i think these areas could be patrolled time permitting.
Micro transactions. I dont know who in their right mind would buy sof tickets. the construction buff proves to me that its rigged. solomons store, i could care less if im captain trans am and my helmets red. My Point here is lets just end gold farming. sell something that people want if you're going to do it GOLD. sell it cheaper than the farmers but high the game isnt easy. I think gold farming and the microtransaction area would benefit, there would be no point to gold farming and at least i know what im buying if i decided to do a micro transaction.
Overall, I hope my input is heard this time, Ive been trying for years. More importantly I hope it helps. thanks for the many years of gaming. 90 days or so now total

This is a welcome bit of news.. The reasons you have put across are understandable, however being more open with the community at the time would have been much more appreciated.
Lets hope 2013 is a better year. I for one would like to see a new skill which brings runescape back to its roots (I.e. a presitgious 99 to own).

I had once the cloak of the adventure, I know even as I quickly walked every day online'm TO yaks for my str 99 slaughter, I know yet how I much time spent hours I set up my house and make it lovingly, I know yet how I enjoy at the mass clan fighting had ... so many memories to me die spiritually bound Runescape have ... But too bad memories. Clearly das. Even in real life SichtBAR WILL die (* chu * ical services ect.) But given the war in life so to speak.

since power eoc is nothing fun ;(

Wow this is a huge surprise. I'm really happy you're going to be more open and communicate with us more. I hope you stick to your word. Thank you for admitting to mistakes.

Would you consider making micro transactions purely cosmetic?
From what I've seen, most of the people that hate them do so because players can gain an unfair advantage. * and a lot of other people would be fine with them if they were purely cosmetic.

To late for me.......

I'm done with this game, to much lies and fails of jagex.(and the EoC ofcourse)*

I did enjoy the game for a long period! and i also thank jagex/runescape for that period.



*Explanation

Jagex said early 2012 that there wont be any double exp weekends anymore(lied).

Jagex removed one of their own rule:"No in-game benefits will be ever sold to players." That rule was removed at the release of squeel of fortune.

Boatany Bay was false hope... didn't work that good at all. Runescape is infested with bots. Jagex pronounced it like it was going to deal with the bots(temporary as allways)

Releasing updates without thinking about rebalances of armours(and more) ... which resulted to major economic crashes.

Manipulating votes: EoC votes which resulted that 90% or so like it.... in a false way.

Community is splitted up and destroyed.

Jagex really never answer on the BIG questions or just trying to avoid it.



Personal things i didn't like:

EoC ofcourse! Runescape was such a special game because of their very own and different gameplay. They removed so many aspects in the game, like special attack e.g. Nowdays its nothing better than WoW and many other games like that..

Squeel of fortune and the general store: totally crap.. another way to gain benefits from purchasing items/tickets. I Really would of paid more money for rs membership than having those two ingame.

things i really did like(2012):

J.A.G. and runecrafting update, which was really needed.. thumbs up for that.

One Question for MMG: Why don't you guys make/take over a private server like for example a remake of runescape in 2006 or the gameplay before the eoc... there are mass amounts people playing private servers just for that reason. Takes away many issues/rage's about the EoC and will bring the satisfactory to many (ex)players back.(includes me!)
