Jagex. im seriously unhappy with the eoc. the combat in the eoc is just frustrating for pvp. I Love the eoc for pvm. love it. great update for pvm. but what about the pvp that built this game. pvp was the birth of runescape even before the wilderness ditch was around the wildy was highly active. Runescape's wild thrived in 2008-2010 with the bh targ/stats system. i thought waiting for ep and targs was a very good way to not only make money, but inflate the gp and sink items from the game. which at the moment, in times when u can buy dboots for 42k in the ge and a time when the wild is dead, i feel a change is needed.

i tried to pk in the eoc system... its a game of stuns. its not strategic. u die way to fast to call it strategic or anything close to the old pvp system. so all im asking is please jagex before i finally quit this pvpless(funless) game. PLZ FIX IT

i hate it how people say that theres to much gp in the game. if theres to much gp in the game. why can i buy any item in the game for way under there normal price. i understand this is a game. but who in the heck does runescape economic balancing? i mean i get it... new items come into the game constantly... but why not inflate the gp again and keep the items prices higher, cuz in the last 2 years the only items that have rised in price our rares which gamblers, stakers, real world traders and dicers allllll hop on. im sooooo frustrated with this game..

i want to watch pk videos again made by legends. i want the youtube community for this game to be revived. this game was living on having celebrity pkers for a long long time and those days r shot cuz nobody wants to watch a bunch of randomized big numbers that dont mean anything. u dont see anyone saying oh!!!! he just hit the max hit with slice and combod a fury maxing twice for the k0!

no u never see that. but if i was in the old wild i would say wow taco limey just wrecked with that dds 44-42! wow! or man that ags spec *****!!! wow! :D hes a legend.

I agree with you 100%, as for him i am also coming up on my 10 year cape, through the years this game has gone threw many changes. Many for the good of the game and some as they thought were "good" for the game. E.O.C has changed this game 95% although with the new E.O.C i have become rather wealthy, i miss what i got "addicted" to as a young 11 year old, this game has changed for the better of the company not for the community.

As many have said they changed this game to be like world of warcraft, with "ability's".
The old runescape was on its own level of game play, the only game to have the "special attack", although there has been thousands of people to quit since the update of E.O.C, if they make a few servers for old runescape, when rs2 came out rsc still had servers open for some time. Why cant this be while this is out? just having 5 old rs servers would show that it is much more respected then E.O.C.

Although it don't seem as if runescape ever truely listens to the community, I hope to see as they have said they will listen to the community more and get US involved, to make this game more of a game people would like and not just another game out there. I was hoping not to but since E.O.C came out I have played significantly less and i no many people who feel the same. I just hope runescape comes to see that it dos not need to be like all the other games to get people, runescape "WAS" unique.

Thank you****. Gerhard. And many thanks to your many employees at Jagex. Despite all of the complaining in the forums, I feel your statement is open and honest. I think that many of us simply wanted some kind of communication about what is going on with the game especially with all of the rapid changes over the last month. I've always considered myself an honest and dedicated player- I don't bot, nor spend dollars for in game gold, and am rather disgusted when I see players trying to scam each other or pass through a bot infested area. Even I was beginning to lose my patience and considered leaving despite my recent purchase of a year of Gold membership.

Your statement is well received in my home, this game is a daily routine my spouse and I enjoy. She agrees with your words and as such we will continue playing. I myself am trying to be a bit more active in the community by posting more on the forums and trying to help frustrated players. Perhaps the game would be more enjoyable for us all if players would give more constructive feedback in a polite way instead of ranting rabidly on the forums.

Again, thank you to everyone at Jagex.

You ask, "WHO STILLS PLAY RS?" that suggests that you don't play any more. How many more of the whiners and cryers against the EoC on this thread are no longer players, but instead just people coming here to disrupt this thread with posts like Nephi Pk and his followers are spamming. Yes, to me that C&P action is just a sneaky way to try and get around the anti-spam rules on these forums, and I feel that the Mods should put a stop to it.

I decided to come back into Runescape just a week ago.

I saw these combat changes, and re-membershiped myself quickly. I'm loving the changes and such and how you've moved forward with the game.

Not a fan of this "What's Coming" post, as it feels a bit....."words"
Just words, you could replace them all with "I know, we're trying" and it'd give the same impact!

But...MINI-GAMES ROCK, for serious. Hated the Squeal of Fortune at first, but a good reward quickly changes the mind. The Cosmetic's store? Awesome, pure and solid. Ain't nothing but love for them Customization options. The Aura's are going too far in the Pay to Win area, but the Hair, Teleports, Clothes, Animations. Solid work.

Keep it up!

BTW, it's "quit", not "quited". That's one of the funny worde that is spelled and said the same in both the past and present tense. It's "you" not "u" that's just lazy spelling there. It's "did you see" not "did u saw" for some reason that's just the way that grammar works with that word. "I did see" "I saw"
