For people who were wondering why the bot banning is slower than expected and didn't read the post properly: Jagex want to make sure that when they're banning people with Botwatch they're 100% sure it's a bot and not a legit player so they're checking for all sorts of bugs before they let if splash. When they have it all figured out the bots will be gone and the economy will improve again, it's already working as it is just not as fast as it could be. Other day running through G.E and seeing a bot get crushed by hand, that made my day. Good job =)

The EoC must go for me to **me back and renew membership...or as others have mentioned a possible server that supports previous game play. I hope jagex loves less income, based on the number of current members and players online im guessing they are not doing well and without trash such as SGS and Sof would have probably already collapsed. This is what happens when you have hasty poor decisions made by incompetent staff who do not understand that a vast majority of there support comes from "old" players who enjoyed playing the game just as it was. I love how some random mod writes this pity crab about a great new year and all the support to players when they will not even reply to such comments as my own. I have been a player of this game for many years nearly since its birth on other accounts and am no longer enjoying myself. seeing that wilderness was one of the biggest draws to the game (and that has been ruined by EoC) I believe we are going to see a complete shut down of rs in the future...

MMG, I have been a runescaper for a very long time. In the beginning, when you assumed your position, I looked forward to changes. Things in the game needed attention. Now, post CEO, MMG, there are so many empty things in game that tells of the spreading death overall of RS. Dead towns (remember when Ardougne Market was vibrant and peopled by several dozen interacting players?) and dead content. The GE is written in stone, but it is a bot trading/scam haven now. I no longer communicate with any players whether it be at the GE or in game. I trust no one.

Botany Bay? No thanks, its a sham. Fighting bots and fixing a terribly broken economy should be your top-top-top priorities not secondary or an afterthought. Everything you put in the game, until those are fixed, is just make-work for your "team."

Your inactivity toward us, not listening to us time-in and time-out has resulted in gross sarcasm from many, many players. Your head graphics guy assaults this game (players) arbitrarily and nothing is done.

In a word, I can't believe you again. I like RS; however, I do not like Jagex and it's representative employees top to bottom.

Now that the children have had 176 pages I decided to add my advice that I believe you haven't seen yet: Please remember that this is RUNESCAPE, not wow or some other second rate MMO. If I wanted to play some other online game I would. Making some modifications are helpful (i was actually a player of RS "1" and still own my account (unlike some that have gone thru 50 or 60 hands) and like the additions that have made the characters not "wabble walk!"

My whole point is please do not make RS look like all the others. Gower created a wonderful game. Don't lose his idea.

Oh okay...so now the game is going to be about "us"?

Why didn't Jagex (Mod Mark) have the information to know it's customer base before they came out with EOC and lose 50k REAL players (many of whom had multiple p2p accts)??? I think it's great you realize that now they have all left. Any monkey could see that. The way Jagex handled that entire update was deplorable, and I believe you (Mod Mark), should be sent packing.

The economy was already bad in this game with bots, but when you chased 50k players away, you made it even worse...and I dare anyone prove that this game hasn't lost that many people.


Ok, now that I got my rant out....

Keep working on the bots...AND MAKE AN IN GAME CASINO!!

-It would take gold out of the game, which helps the economy.
-It would get rid of the majority of scammers and illegal gambling.

Make it in Zanaris and have the fairies run it..same graphics

Seriously, has any Jagex staff even bothered to visit the GE in the past few weeks? The whole place is overrun by level 34 fake refer a friend accounts! The gamblers literally use them to fence off entire areas. It is insane. Ive played since 2005 and have never seen a more ridiculous sitution!

One thought for you to ponder.

I thought membership brought with it the freedome from advertising. Why is it then that I am bombarded everytime i log in with sales pitches and images (both on the world select page and in the chat box) about this or that which can be purchased at Solomon's Store?

Please appreciate the money we already pay you and remove the advertising.

Please, gimme a break rofl. The only "bots" who are banned are advertising bots. Try and do a grotworm task, ever mined in the mining guild resource dungeon lately ??? Catherby yews, Edgeville yews, etc etc etc, you name a spot its CRAWLING with bots. Their totally safe and don't get banned AND they KNOW their safe.
Last night a guy I've been reporting for weeks now almost daily with rcing cape btw, he's so confident of not getting banned he makes astrals with 2 bots running at the same time rofl. Now thats confidence for ya.
Sit in any botany bay trial you want, their all advertising no skilling bots, every damn one of them.

If anybody ran a poll here that wasn't rigged, I bet 80 % plus players would say bot banning is a joke.
