The company may not be influenced directly by its investors, but when the game makes more money jagex's support grows. The EOC, as I see it, is selling out the integritiy of the game, not that there was any signifficant amount left. They are milking players with in-game benifits for real life comodities, and for so long they were so good at not doing it! They started, and it is now a perfect example of how ultimate power crubes absolutily. There is no check on jagex's actions; we players may try but to avail not fruit but only fretting concern. Jagex is selling out the game, and in the process making a lot of money. I knew runescape would die at some point, and so did jagex, and this is it folks. THEY ARE TAKING YOUR MONEY FOR PLAYING THEIR GAME WITH NO REGAURD FOR WHAT THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS WANT!. THIS IS NOT DEMOCROCY, BUT THIS IS SURLY EVEDINCE OF A DICTATORSHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll add that I think the new combat system is horrible (RIP PRIVATE CASTLE WARS, THE BEST THING RUNESCAPE EVER WAS), and the worse update ever. I could write deductive arguments proving what I said, and hope you all see my rationality in saying those things.

Read several comments tried EOC didn't really like it because it forced all players to convert...as someone stated why not make 2 seperate servers but you came back with the to difficult comment...yea I agree there would kind of make it pointless and rs2 would eventully die out like classic because jagex refused to make it for f2p players also.

So my idea is much more simple and probably would be a hell of a lot better for players...make EOC specialty weapons with this new eoc content and leave normal weapons and game as it was with a few little tweaks. Those whom want to do the new eoc can hunt down those weapons via clue scrolls,sof,shop or what have ya. Probably would of been more exceptable by players.

Hope you guys get all these bugs fixed...tired of when I teleport runescape freezes and I have to restart game and watch those stupid adverts again just to play.

There is 1 thing I do like about the EOC 1 click drop of raw fis* too bad the rest of the items aren't like that...

Sorry forgot 1 last comment whom came up with brilliant idea of removing deaths, chaos from mage usage?? If there was going to be a rune to be removed from should of been laws since teleporting is available with rings and other free means... would force more players to do mage combat if they gained no xp from teleporting at all and do away with bots just teleporting in one spot...runes are crashing....oh yea kind of makes all those yrs of rcing kind of pointless, little similar to the adding of slingshot without requirements of making any stones to use just auto attack why use arrows if you can use a slingshot to level...hope u get my thinking peace.

Why is food prices dropping drasitically players quiting or is EOC too powerful that players can kill monsters without food usage umm? Food for thought lol just had to throw that in...

EOC is detritus. Cannot explain in mere words the depth of loathing I now bare when I consider this "runescape"; moreover, "waste your life, diminish relationships with people who really matter, and all this for a mere fanticy".

@mods and jagex: I really wish you cared enough about your players, who you utterly depend upon for success, to do what they want, or what the most of them want. Your logic in the need to advance the game only stands on you know the measured variables of complexity in which the game perviously existed and what it has now become. Never will you understand each of these variables therefore you cannot advance any part of the game in which is effected by variables not considered. Furthermore even if it was a valid arguemnt (to change the game based off a need to grow in complexity) it would not then follow that "its the best for the game" or any of the other unjustified assirtions you have blithered so freely.

Logic aside I still think the game is a peice of... What has happened? With this update you defeated so many thought out institutions and the gerneral compositional functions of the game. The new ones do not appeal. Not to me not to so so so so many people. Why do you think we played this game, and invested so much of our lifes and times into it? Just to have it changed into something that obiously most people do not like at all?

JAGEX IF YOU TAKE A GOD DAMN VOTE YOU CANNOT BE DISPUTED IN DOING "THE RIGHT THING"! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD LET DEMOCRACY PREVAIL, AND NOT YOUR TWISTED JUDGMENT!

JaGeX will remove the EoC without a doubt. If they do not, they will go bankrupt.

They are greedy enough and stupid enough to understand this simple equation: EoC = less money

It's only a matter of months as they slowly see their revenue dropping before they restore RuneScape again.

I just wanted to state the obvious, and I'm glad Jagex thought this through.

EoC = End of Combat.

You must have wanted to remove combat from the game, and you've made this update to do it. Good job.

It is unfortunate that you took the skills, Slayer and Summoning down with it - as they both rely on combat.

But maybe you can replace those skills with swimming and Gnome Ball.

It's a shame people are so afraid of change and the unknown. Many I have spoken with have condemned Eoc with out trying it. There will always be some disapproval of new methods, as well as a normal turn over in players. Why get hysterical?

I hope that jagex reads this.
I have been playing runescape ever since the age of 9, This game means alot to me. When the EoC first came out I'm not going to lie i was a bit ignorant about it. I didn't understand anything the whole thing was just hard to me. So i stopped playing. A week later I got back onto the game and I started to read all of the Spells/Skills/abilities. and I said to myself. This builds onto each other, this makes total sense.

I want to thank you jagex for taking a superb game and making it into something vitalizing and new. I do however disagree with the whole prayer thing. I'm maxed level! And I sure did rely on prayer to save my behind on nex!

For all those people saying "Oh Pvp has been ruined blah blah blah," Or "I keep getting piled and rushed". You need to read the defensive abilities. They are there for a GOOD. Reason. For example, just the other day in the red clan wars portal. I was attacked by a clan. What did I do when i was binded? Oh I just used the handy "FREEDOM" Ability. Saved me, everying has a counter. Jagex really did work hard on this and they thought about everything. Thanks guys!
