Yeah, seems they did. :P

I only get the slider when I get auto-logged out due to inactivity or reaching the login duration limit. I don't get it on my first login of having browser open though. Life is like a camera: Just focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives, and if things don't work out, take another shot !

I am re-upping this thread as it appears as though we are back with Google's reCAPTCHA.

I wonder, all these different CAPTCHAs we have had over the past months: Why the changes?

Are they really needed on browsers with valid cookies, for instance?

Why the blanket approach given their notoriety?

EDIT: While I did intend on posting this, I did not plan on doing it five times. Hidden doubles.

I can't add much knowledge here, but I can vouch that I've been getting captchas in the middle of posting. It doesn't sign me out, but suddenly appears every now and then. :O
