It's almost as though somebody left the "I'm Under Attack" mode enabled. Regardless of the reason (and it is totally understandable that some form of protection would be in place), this needs to be acknowledged as a genuine issue affecting a significant amount of legitimate users. A number of people have expressed frustration attempting to do something as simple as checking a message about their account, let alone accessing the forums.

If you are continually being challenged, that is likely due to privacy extensions or other changes to do with your device.
In that case, please explain why I went literally overnight from never being challenged on either of my computers, to being challenged every.single.login on both, despite having made no changes to my software or extensions?

I found a useful tip: you don't actually need to fill out the 2nd captcha. Just click verify.
Sadly, this did not function for me.
Nor for me. It sent me back to do 2 image tests again.

Captcha's are AI-learning things thus they may adapt to what you do or not do.
Based upon the number of 'updates/upgrades' my computer has been following, or software for that matter, I do understand there's a lot going on. Lots of things that we daily use are changing at the moment.
Social Media does radiate/emit so much bad things you have to protect yourself against as well as other data that is send to your computer, data that sometimes does more than just being data.
What Jagex/JMods & The RuneScape Official Forums and RuneScape 3/OldSchool RuneScape do is protect themselves against problems coming from all directions trying to penetrate the security shield Jagex has been putting up for so long.
I am really glad that they actively do keep themselves occupied with the security shield to make sure outsiders are being kept outside the door, unable to get their hands on Jagex's Digital Property.
