I see that there's plenty of mention towards getting the CAPTCHA on Forums login... Do people not receive the same amount of CAPTCHA requests on Client Login? I do.

Yesterday I had Captcha logging in and logging out. I thought it might be due to leaving my browser on the wiki page for Wintumber Aurora for a long time. I wasn't logged in to the website when I opened the wiki page then at least an hour later I decided to log in to browse the forums. It wanted me to identify boats on both occasions.
A forced CAPTCHA each time a user wishes to login, without a persistent login option, is not user friendly, nor is it encouraged design. There is really not a lot of benefit to requiring the CAPTCHA challenge on the first login attempt rather than third unsuccessful attempt from the same client. All this is doing right now is agitating legitimate users.

Especially when you want to go and make account changes while logged in already, having to continuously be asked for credentials makes it a negative user experience overall. Most modern websites are able to not have this issue.

This.
The CAPTCHA's are way too frequent. I've gotten to the point where I just close the forums when I'm presented with one.
