It is still unknown how many accounts are regularly becoming victim of this glitch. Jagex is still silent with that.

The gap here is not just the technical problem only, but with regards to the communication line between Jagex and the playerbase. If switching ISPs (using mobile data / alternative internet connection) does not work, what workaround is available at player's end?

Many ISPs do use carrier-grade NAT for their customers and will refuse when customers ask for new public IP. This is because IPV4 addresses already dried-up years ago, what ISPs have are being provisioned to all their customers through an ISP-wide NAT.

As many as 100 customers or more can share a single public IPV4 with carrier-grade NAT.

ONCE AGAIN ... i am getting the too many log in attempts .... I haven't logged in since 1am est ... it is now 10:40am est and I try to log in for the first time since 1am and get the stupid message ....

it won't last long .... my game worked for 2 days ... now it's back to this bs

so I was able to log in after 2 hrs .... now I am at work with a different IP address and once again I get this stupid too many attempts BS ... my patience are running very thin
