An extremely long overdue change that I am sure will be for the better of the forums. Unfortunately the RS forums are still based on a plethora of immensely outdated concepts that I personally believe heavily reduce the overall quality of the forums.

Is there any chance of you allowing us to use pictures uploaed to Gyazo or Puush in the future? I'd wager that well above 90% of all RS players I've met that have taken or uploaded screenshots have used one of those two sites and I think it'd be a lot easier if players could post screenshots taken with either of the two rather than have to go through the process of uploading something to imgur.
Personally I can't see myself using this feature at all since I use puush and don't want to upload a screenshot a second time just to be able to post it here.

Also the HLF doesn't filter links at all which usually works out fine. If you're afraid of this being abused on the normal forums, can't you just put it behind a restriction such as at least 2K total level or 1K post count?

I'm genuinely curious as to how these people begging for a censor survive on the internet. The majority want it to be relaxed for years, you finally do so and then you mostly get complaints about how it's missed. This is a case of "damned if you do, damned if you don't." Oops, that probably burned someone's retinas.

EDIT: Aww, mine does have .jpg or .gif either, hence why it's not working :( Your image worked for me on Chrome, though none of the images on the second page worked until I refreshed the page (maybe because I had just toggled off AdBlock)

Also, this is amazing!! Super useful!!

Though tbh in the CLF I'm still going to post image links because I like how Linkify previews them for me instead of having to click to view, so maybe Imgur images within certain dimensions can automatically be shown?

Nobody is begging for a censor. I personally use the Internet for gaming and research, and little more than that. I always have profanity filters enabled when possible on games or otherwise. I'm simply not interested in seeing people use the words everywhere they possibly can just because they can. I'm not afraid of the words or something, as you clearly seem to believe.

Without trying to sound condescending I think 90% is a number plucked out of thin air to be honest.

I addressed this elsewhere why we didn't go with puush.

The reason we didn't go with puush was due to the "recent" malware infection.

Obviously this could easily happen to imgur, however when investigating sites we went with imgur.

Not saying puush will never happen, but I don't see a reason to add this as well at the moment. Confuses things even further for users that aren't particularly computer savvy, as we've already seen.

If you take a look at the RuneScape Reddit you'll notice the majority of uploads are to imgur. As well as the reasons listed above, that's the main reason we went with imgur.

Not saying never, but it's not something myself & Mod Allstar see as a personal high-priority project for our own time. We'll likely investigate what other things people are requesting for elsewhere on the site, or look into expanding to a new project with Mod SGreen.

This was a page loading reason, rather than a dimensions issue. You'll notice if you upload a huge image we'll automatically scale its size for you. If you want the full image you can open it yourself elsewhere.

If we didn't have the placeholder and someone posted 100 images, that page is going to take AGES to load. We don't want that.
