This is a good update. Step in the right direction for the forums. They need stuff like this to be able to compete with other third-party sites. Hopefully one day you allow Puush images.

The reason we didn't go with puush was due to the "recent" malware infection.
Obviously this could easily happen to imgur, however when investigating sites we went with imgur.
Not saying puush will never happen, but I don't see a reason to add this as well at the moment. Confuses things even further for users that aren't particularly computer savvy, as we've already seen.
Thanks you Lyon and everyone else who worked on this to bring it to us. Words cannot express my gratitude. You've relieved the forums of a huge restriction, and now maybe we can start seeing more users coming to them.

This is a nice update and one that a lot of people have wanted. However, has it broken the forum censor? I've seen some things today that should definitely be getting censored.
Nope - as part of this change we have had to make changes to the forum censor. We will be watching carefully in the next few weeks of course to see if this becomes an issue.
You should consider making profanity an option on the forums like it is in game. Don't take away our right to choose whether naughty words are shown. It's an option in game. Stay consistent and make it an option on the forums as well. Some of your players would rather not be exposed to such vulgar words. Please make it so that
*everyone*
can enjoy the forums - not just those who are okay with seeing profanity.
