This is a nice update and one that a lot of people have wanted. However, has it broken the forum censor? I've seen some things today that should definitely be getting censored.
Depending on the forum, there might be a more lax censor. This would include the community help areas. If you're referring to the pictures, that's why #webmeat made it so you have to click them before viewing; this allows you the chance to not view an image at all.

I'm not referring to the community help forums nor pictures.

Nope - as part of this change we have had to make changes to the forum censor. We will be watching carefully in the next few weeks of course to see if this becomes an issue.

Loving the positive feedback so for all.
Just a gentle reminder we do listen - we just cannot work on everything all the time
Maybe they should allot more time for you guys to work on the forums. I'm sure you're aware the number of active users is consistently decreasing on the forums while those in-game doesn't seem to be showing a similar trend. At the moment, it says we have ~30 on the forums, 60k in game and ~850 on the RS subreddit. When you see such an imbalance between external and internal, you have to be aware that the forums are dying because of something being done or not being done.
To keep this from being too lengthy, I think it comes down to 3 simple things:
1. Jmod interaction. Reddit gets FAR more than the RSOF, especially when it comes to addressing new/future updates and the like.
2. Restrictions. This was a step towards helping with that, but the RSOF are both stricter on posting and moderation than Reddit.
3. Incentive. Redditors are obsessed with upvotes. I'm not saying that the RSOF are at fault for not implementing something like that, but that the forums have the opportunity to offer incentives that Reddit can't. Perhaps something like earning points from upvotes on the forum (with restrictions: upvotes from friends having a weighted lower value, must be mems with X total to upvote, etc.) and then at certain point marks you would unlock cosmetics or you could use the points to purchase cosmetics. Something like that, just a rough example. Spamming for points would be the opposite of efficient due to the downvotes they'd receive.
Without something to turn it around, efforts improving the forums will be wasted time due to the lack of users, which I think has already heavily played a role in how slowly updates are implemented for the forums.
