In a bit of a predicament.

I train 5-7 days a week (depending on work) for 1-2 hour sessions a time. I train properly, eat (relatively) well and work hard. I don't do much cardio (swimming if I have time and some cross-trainer occasionally).

However, the only progress I ever seem to make is strength. I really struggle to put on much size. Friends say they've noticed and my training partner says he can tell when I'm looking bigger but I really can't see any significant difference between now and the first time I stepped foot in the gym.

I've been going for a while, I'm not new to it, so I'm not one of those guys who can't see any results after 2 weeks and quits.

I'm getting stronger by the day but it doesn't reflect aesthetically. Am I doing something wrong here?? I can't put my finger on it.

Been doing gym for few years, but booze ruins my trainings pretty badly. Year ago in January I lifted 110kg off pench. After that I have been doing sets with at least 8 reps. Last chestday did 10 reps with 80kg but I'm now aiming to do 10 reps with 100kg. Have done 6 reps with 100kg but it was with little bit help from spotter. Squat max was at 160kg. And sadly I have never done deadlift... I'm too afraid I'll break my back. When I start doing it though I want to do it right from the start.

I'm 180cm/87kg atm. Aiming to get my weight 90kg.

its not about the weights matey get that out of ur head first sure heavy weight feels more satisfactory but everyone can throw weight up

ur either a weight lifter or a bodybuilder (training wise)

u want a sculpted body so u gotta train like a "bodybuilder" not a weight lifter like ur prolly doing now thats why ur getting strenght gainz but lil too no physique chances

what ur supposed to do is get the most intence contraction out of the muscle group ur training as u can weight does not matter , i compete and i do seated biceps curls with 10-12kg and im crying my eyes out , if u want to get deeper into this u need to pm me its hard to explain properly over a few words on here
