Backgrounds & Borders

There are three types of posts: your own, your friends and your clanmates.

Each type can be activated or deactivated using the checkbox at the top left. The colour can be customized by either using the selector or hex input. You can also choose to add a golden border around each type of post using the checkbox below.

Additionally, there is a textbox for entering lists of clanmates and friends for their type.

The rest of the options work in a similar way, read the text on the page for details.

E: Don't forget to save your preference changes.

Update: Version 2.0.8.3

New navigation side panel.

It's still in the early stages but it's at a stage where it's quite useful.

The little icon is a toggle for it. It took me a little while to get used to using the side panel but now I love it and can't do without it.

The larger your screen the better it is to use, because of that I have put a minimum req of 1024 pixels screen width. It's not ideal at that resolution but it's useable.

There is loads of little features that come with it. Dynamic page loading, history back/forward executes requests for dynamic page loading. Customise the forum categories, and loads of behind the scenes stuff going on to smooth out navigating in the forums.

It's not the pretty interface and I will improve it, but right now I'm at the stage where feedback will shape this feature.

Try navigation around subsections of forums and traverse through a few pages of a thread using the new side panel. You'll see the dynamic page loading and see how the side panel always shows the parent directory contents and links directly to everything.

Remember it's its a beta version, and it will change. I hope those who have monitors that support it find it nice to use :)

Thanks very much Blasty :)

I still have much more to do, but my spare time has been limited lately. I have been wanting to get this update published for ages, and while not complete it's been been bugging me so I just published it.

I figure now is as good a time as any to give it a test and see what people think. I've been using for a little while now. I've become so used to it, I can't do without it.

Clicking on the //Home / RuneScape Forums / High Level - Off Topic / RS-Linkify links refreshes rather than transitions

Yep that will happen. I just tried it and did it slowly and it was fine. There are a number reasons though. The main reason is I don't hook my eventlisteners until well after dom content has loaded. So the page is interactive but my events aren't attached. I do this to avoid a few issues with these pages.

I also a have a antispam click routine that can kick in and detach my hooks, though I doubt that's what's doing it your case.

I actually don't mind having the odd full page load, since it acts like a soft refresh, and these pages all through errors so it's good to have a clean slate every now and then.

Edit #2
However I have to be honest and say it has happened inexplicably at times, so I have made sure it's a graceful fallback to a regular page load.
