Thanks Lifer, I think you're right. Though all my extensions are there, but some have their settings reset to defaults. However I have a few different versions of RS-Linkify installed and only one of them seems affected.

I actually thought it was just me getting mixed up. I purposely have multiple versions of RS-Linkify with different settings for testing and developing. It's not unusual for me to lose track of what one I'm using and I assumed that was the case with me, but now I'm not so sure.

Somehow google thought it would be useful if they re-installed some deleted extensions.... Q_Q

@K o e n, there has been some odd behaviour for some people since chrome's last update. I've seen a number of unexpected things happen with many extensions lately. It's a bit annoying when things aren't the way you left it. But I guess some browser updates can't always honour your settings.

Anyway I'm glad that was easily sorted, and big thanks to Blasty for his awesome tech support :)
