For that friendly sensation, come to mine nation!

This clan chat was originally created for the use of miners and smithers to come together as a community, a place to chat with people that all have those common interests. However, players specializing in a broad range of skills now use the clan chat. Anyone is welcome, as long as you are friendly. We’re keen to meet new people and learn about new and different training techniques, congratulate and cheer each other on for our goals, and even to discuss off-game matters. If you would like to chat with us, please feel free to join our CC, 'Mine Nation', and enjoy your stay!

We’re a community rather than a clan chat. We are not specifically a warring clan or even a skilling clan, but we simply use the clan chat feature to have people to talk to/plan events with in-game. We do run events, but these are totally optional.

The Clan was originally a Friends Chat before the clan chat update.
We have no level requirements to join

We do use an external forum for better communication and social stuff, you can ask for it once you join the cc.

Rules:

Ranks will enforce rules, so it is helpful to listen to them. If there is a problem speak to any Key. Keys, Coordinators and Organisers have the right to kick any rule breakers, including ranked members.

- Be respectful regardless of your rank.
- Be mature about what you say, although there is no language rule, don't overdo it.
- NO advertising other clan chats, or advertising us.
- NO arguing in the clan chat.
- NO excessive profanity.
- NO all CAPS in type.
- NO spamming in general (running several lines of type consecutively).
- NO spamming in other clans from Mine Nation, be respectful.
- NO racism or inappropriateness against someone's views - this will be seriously enforced.
- Stick to English, as that is the language everyone in the clan can understand.

Normal Jagex rules apply


All of Mine Nation's ranks please help enforce these rules.

Ranks:
Ranks are awarded during rank meetings and these are done in external forums. For specific rank requirements check out our clan website. You can ask for the URL once you have joined the clan. Do NOT ask for a higher rank.

Rules on kicking:
Keys, Coordinators and Organizers are granted to use their own method of kicking. They do not have to warn you for serious issues.

How to LOSE your rank:
Not listening to the higher ranks.
Not coming to the cc itself.
Ignoring the rules that have been set.
Not speaking English

On the other hand, we are generally easy going on the rules.

Post Five ~ Citadel

We try to maintain an active citadel. We will not force any clan member to cap in the citadel weekly but it greatly helps improve your chance of getting ranked up. It is also a requirement to reach the higher ranks.

If you are new to clan citadels, one of our admins will happily show you around. We also have a guide on our clan website to teach you the basics. You can't contribute to the citadel until you have been in the clan for 7 full days.

Post Six ~ Recurring Events/Competitions, Other:

Skillweek:
Is a monthly competition, held on the first Saturday of each month, the point is to get the most xp in a chosen skill in a period of one week. (see post 13 on page 2 for more infomation)

Boss events:
We try to have boss events every week or other week. These are fairly popular and bring in a chance of earning some nice cash too.

Citadel events:
We are aware that capping at the citadel is quite boring for some of you. To make it more interesting, we try to go in groups. This is hard to organise so try to let others know when you are going to cap so they can join you.

Other events:
We are very keen to offer more events of all kinds. Do you wish to organise an event? Let us know on our clan website and we can arrange it to help work it out.

Meliumex - Founder of the Clan, and lead Mine Nation FC from 2009

Fadge7 - The Second Leader of Mine Nation. Was a great personality for the chat, always kept the chat buzzing with witty and intelligent conversation. Still an FC at the time.

Tristar61 – The Third Leader of Mine Nation. A great personality for the clan chat, as well as a great miner herself. Still an FC 2010

Wanderer0246 - The fourth Leader of Mine Nation. She was a great involvement to the clan and always kept the clan active. From 2010(FC) - 2012

The clan was transferred from FC to CC during the update.
