Yep system restore doesn't preserve all javascript files (Linkify is javascript). I have had many projects destroyed because of that.

I'm glad you got it sorted, nice seeing that avatar again

So it seems the censor somehow triggers before your code removes the avatar code?

The censor is weird and kinda unpredictable, if you replaced it with the qfc code in non-specialist forums that could be a solution.

Since it also comes back after editing, maybe there could be a small toggle in the message box border to not include the avatar code.

To add to the confusion, I haven't personally had any issues outside the HLF with custom avatars

I just went and looked at the thread, it seems it's happened on the post she edited, her other posts are okay. I don't even know what the thread is about but I posted on it and it worked.

I'm going to go back and edit my post and see what happens.

Edit: I went back and edited my post and it was fine. I can only assume at this point when she edited she altered the invisible code. I'll see if I can work on some kind of prevention for that.

@Blasty the code is needed for mini avatar, if it's not included then they won't work. I need to check some things before I can determine what to do.

^sweet dreams, and thanks for the info about avatars. I went back and edited my post and it's still fine. But I have an idea of what may have happened to J Morgan's post.

Damn she better get back to HLF soon, I really like it when she posts on this thread.

Testing with preview, I got the same thing in non-specialist forums when I type nothing but 'nw'. It also seems to happen with most posts with 'now' or 'now.' near the end.
