I have found an issue, and its to do with multiple tabs. The qfc and the thread title are being read from the leftmost tab (first tab). I'll start on a fix right now.

Edit:
Your post about closing all the tabs is what to told me where to look. I'm publishing an update right now and I'll post again when it's live. Thanks for all your help :)

Nah it's just my first attempt at getting 2 different browser tabs to talk to each other, I got them talking without a problem, just they weren't talking to the right ones.

That's why I did this as a silent update, being experimental I rely on feedback.



Oh the multiple tab issue has been sorted, if you update your extension  to version 2.0.1.7 no amount of open tabs will mess with reporting :)

Can you have a look at this post and see whats happening?

It appears the poster has adopted my avatar via quoting me. I've noticed it on other threads also. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the avatar code being removed on quoting?

Hmmm damn I tested this, on threads like this . Oddly it's working as it should on some posts.

Anyway you're right, it's because of the quoted avatar code. I'll have an update to sort it out within the hour.

Thanks for pointing for this out.

Edit: Seems it was only occurring on posts with multiple quotes.

Update V 1.0.1.8 is now live and sorts it out.

My apologies for that.

I also made some tweaks to the forum reporting, should be a bit more robust and not be affected by opening and closing tabs while reporting.

You're welcome. And yes if someone takes the time to point out an issue, giving me links/QFC and screenie, then it becomes my priority.

TBH the time consuming part is waiting for google to scan my update. They scan for malware, viruses, malicious code, etc. If they have a queue of apps to scan it can take an hour or more for my update to be published. Fortunately it went through quickly :)
