Clearly no one actively committing suicide at the moment finds life desirable as they are killing themselves. Is this a reason to support and promote suicide?

sorry, just pointing out your logic makes ZERO actual sense when applied to any other situation (using an extreme situation for emphasis) just as it makes zero sense in this situation

maybe a better example would be to say do you think everyone who works likes their job just because they carry on working, or do you think possibly its just the goal of working (i.e. money) that they want, and if someone offered them the money without having to work, they would take it

a much more fitting analogy i think, as to why people loafing CW dosnt mean they like loafing CW and want to keep loafing CW

on topic, no, id have no issue keeping cw a comp req, as long as they add every other mini game as well, for consistency,and at equal time req's

so either shorten CW req, or add 3 months of every mini game to trim req, just to be fair.

I mean, its almost as if people have forgotten that the sole reason it was added to the cape in the first place was so that only 1 person would be able to wear it on release, which was an incredibly unprofessional thing to do, nepotistically catering to a single player

as an international company they should actually be ashamed of themselves for not correcting that mistake sooner

CW should be kept. However, I'd like to see profound turn into a better t80-t85, hybrid set, better than gemstone. Maybe add in prayer & life bonus? Make it augment-able too. No set effect though.

It would degrade, and the set can be repaired with items or tickets. So you trade in the shield for the first repair, and sword for your next. In the meantime, you play cw.

Go ahead and remove any/all restrictions on wearing the set. So a pure skiller can wear the armour.

To gain a gold ticket though, you must do at least a ring of recoil worth of damage. My Threads:

I think CW should be kept for trim, but the reqs should be changed from games played based rewards to specific task oriented items.

Example: Unlock all capes from CW with the 500, 1000, 5000 games played capes changed.

Cape 1: Most flags run in a single game
Cape 2: Most Kills in a single game
Cape 3: 100 flag carrier kills
Cape 4: 100 flag carrier saves (protecting your teams flag carrier)
Cape 5: Area Clear - Most kills in the center island.

These are just examples, I am positive better examples exist. My point is to design the trim reqs (and all reqs for that matter) to be based on playability. Regardless of if you have trim yet or not, I think we can all agree we would rather be actively playing content then afking.

My take on the comp cape rework, is that the issues with comp do not necessarily come from the requirements, but that the requirements highlight the underlying issues of accessibility and playability of the game.

Example #1: A person who does not typically group pvm often, having a hard time finding a group. lets focus on making that easier - i.e.
- in-game group pvm matchmaking lobbies in the like of pest control, DG, etc.
- A choice for bosses to be solo, small group, large group.
- PVM teachers getting fragments while teaching new comers that can be redeemed for rewards; not one time unlocks like the owl or hat, but from some reward shop; maybe even skill based task tokens; see ex. 2 below.
- Teachers being given a higher percentage of a good drop when with a new comer.

Example #2: Pvmers wanting to pvm and not grind non-stop to keep the cape
- Provide more casual grace periods for the reqs to be completed.
- An ability to buy task completion tokens from fragments they get for teaching new comers to pvm as stated above.

Let's focus on reducing the division of the different communities in RS i.e. skillers, pvmers, etc. and develop systems to increase content accessibility for all. Always look on the bright side of life

To be honest, the castle wars rewards need reworked to not take 6 months to obtain, especially since the minigame is AFK-ville.

In my opinion this isn't something that should have ever been put onto the completionist cape in the first place but it was and now Jagex is in a tough spot. As someone without a completionist cape I can agree that it's BS if they remove it. But I do want them to change it to make it a reasonable challenge and not it's current state.

To be honest it’s an achievement in itself that someone sat down for 6 months in CW doing nothing. There is a simple solution to this, remove the req from the cape and give those players a title: “has nothing better to do with his life”. Just like we get “the billionaire” for throwing our bank down the well. Would make both sides happy.

I have more legit games played than you have afked, people that actually enjoyed the minigame look at people like you with contempt. You don't even think (or care) about how the cw trim req impacted the minigame in a negative way and you seriously think that because you boosted a minigame that you achieved something, it's pathetic.
