mod kalaya actively trying to stop players ever wanting to use the forums
Is it because of her being constantly on social media? She is the curator of the Premier forum and has done a shit job for months then up and disappeared a couple months back and Shauny had to take over.
I'd say it stems from the restrictions placed on it alongside the formatting. It also doesn't help that Jmods neglect the audience here and, besides game updates, use other platforms over rsof to communicate information. Also awful forum mods, like Archaeox, helped dig the hole.

While ad hominem attacks on other players really help the atmosphere? Right.

Im curious why you dig your heels in so deeply when you face nothing but a constant barrage of discontent. I mean surely, with the amount of people that seem to think you were a completely incompetent moderator I wonder why you seemingly have never stopped to try and take the criticism to better yourself. It seems your only defenders are clanmates. Shouldn't these be signals that you can take a step back, work on yourself and become a more liked member of the community since it seems very important to you to be noticed within said community.
Is it really that easy to put your blinders on and assume everyone is trolling you and that you're always in the right?
Otter - try posting on topic. That helps forums to be useful, too.
Of course there's a lot of criticism, and most of it's from people who fucked up and didn't want to take the consequences, or didn't want to see their friends take the consequences.
What's interesting is that it was never anything personal for me, but that other people insisted (and still insist) on making it so and not letting it go, even when I'm no longer a moderator.
Maybe if more people took things less personally, and made an effort to be civil, the HLF would be a more pleasant and useful place to be? And perhaps if it was less generally toxic, Jagex Staff might even see a point in posting here occasionally too?

Well again, FMods have no authority in the HLF, so while your argument might apply to the forums as a whole, it really doesn't tackle the problem with the HLF specifically, does it?
