This, go for it if you really want a customisable shiny kep/max total/in game goals but the amazing benefits it had pre eoc have slowly trailed off; The stats don't have anywhere near as big an impact, the Ava's effect is almost completely redundant, the Spirit cape ability is less useful as steel titan became less popular and with more and more cosmetically appealing/Parti00l cape slot items being introduced i'd argue it's lost a lot of it's uniqueness.

Going for comp gave me something to do, so I'd consider it worth going for. Plus, the stat increase is bigger than you'd think - bigger than the jump between T80 and T90 power armor.

Personally I think it's great to do Livid Farm even if you have no interest in comp. The arcane capacitor from 100% completing Livid Farm is extremely OP for Vorago/Telos, allowing you to use Ancients with Vulnerability. Disruption Shield and Group Vengeance are also good - not amazing like the arcane capacitor, but they're both very solid. The skilling spells like Repair Rune Pouch and Remote Farm are also decent, though whenever or not they're worth spending a handful of hours for is up to you if you like skilling or not.

That is one of the main reasons I never bothered with trimmed. Doing chompy birds is just stupid. Think I killed about 270. lmao

In terms of benefits, stats, etc, no, it's literally not worth it AT ALL. If you like the looks, go for it. But getting comp cape is almost like you feel compelled to play content which you normally wouldn't touch in order to keep your particles and it's not a nice feeling.

Long story short: not worth it. Use Max cape.

Edit: Speaking of which, I was thinking about making a thread on Reddit asking for comp cape to be buffed in line with the time and sacrifice it takes to get it, but I know I will get massively downvoted. The cape is VERY bad for the effort and time it takes.

Take an Ardy cape.

- Put a max guild tele on it.
- Then stack a Desert amulet 3 onto it.

The result is basically a non re-colourable comp cape.

It's not just the time invested that made comp cape not worth it for me. It was that I had to compromise my play style. Maintaining it felt like jumping through Jagex's hoops (shit updates that are geared around getting cape back and nothing more).

When I wore my comp cape, I was a puppet and Jagex pulled the strings. I did content I'd rather not do. That's not how I want to play, not like that anyway.

Definitely not worth it in my case, the cape never made up for the chores of upkeep. I don't enjoy every bit of content Jagex releases and there's little joy in feeling obliged to do it.

yea livid farm spells are a huge hit or miss, depending on your play style. personally i never used them once, but i know people that would use them daily.
