Im a very casual and probably not that efficient person, but i dont bankstand or follow people in priff thats kinda a waste of time. But what have been said above is true i probably will never use the livid farm spell, magic arena spells and temple trekking stuff even if its gonna help me in some stuff but I know i wont use them :p

Its true not all quest are useful, but i probably will do them all some series are really nice and have useful rewards.

Yes i think the most time consuming and annoying requirement in going for comp are those three in the first paragraph .

At the moment im really enjoying the arc, did all its miniquest now i only have the berries left and i finish the arc journal ( got both rare seeds from uncharted isle also)

Every week? lol

The amount of content we get now is monthly.

Yes but even though i dont have it, it seems like every week.

on average i have to do 8 pieces of content a year, 14 if you count getting songs to upkeep comp cape, of these, on average 2-3 of them are time consuming

It probably seems like every week because you don't have it, lol

It definitely isn't every week, it's more like once a month - and even then, every 2nd month is usually a song or something.

These days my Comp cape is good for sitting in my bank collecting dust so it can fall off in the form of particles when I actually do put it on.. Which is really only for a convenient bank teleport these days, and Tokkul-Zo accomplishes the same thing there.

I'd hardly call it worth the effort to get these days. If you already had it in the past or knocked out the requirements on your way to maxing then maintaining it (or finishing those last requirements) wouldn't take much effort, but I wouldn't even recommend that.

The stats are a pale shadow of what they once were (comparatively) and many of the included benefits (spirit cape, summoning restore, and accumulator effect come to mind) have very little use in the modern game.

My vote goes towards it not being worthwhile to obtain.

I'd say that it is worth it. That being said though, I didn't get comp cape for the stats, and I didn't get comp cape for the teleports or extra effects. I got comp cape mostly for the sake of having a nice long-term goal to work toward, plus I really like the look of the cape.

I might be in the minority with my reasoning there haha, but I think it's a good goal to set out for and so for me, it would still be worth it.

Owning a comp cape is like having a drug addiction.

Every Monday when the cape thieves come to town with their system update, withdrawl symptoms start to kick in leaving you with that intense craving to get back that cape as soon as you can. Its not entirely healthy

Speaking of which, I was thinking about making a thread on Reddit asking for comp cape to be buffed in line with the time and sacrifice it takes to get it

I'd support if trim gets buffed too
Well, it would make sense for Trim to offer even more benefits over comp cape, and I say this as someone that will never trim because I hate the reqs.

The stats on trim would have to rival a weapon to match the time spent getting it...That would probably be a bit overwhelming for a cape.... "When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself... first, as a dark demon. As a demon, it uses its power to rain death upon the land, and then it dies. However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns, this time, as a great hero"
