Don't become one of the bozos who complains every time Jagex adds an update because their shiny cape falls off. That'd be like me, a guy who adores quests, whining every time a new quest comes out.

If you get the cape, do it because you enjoy the content. Otherwise it will only be forging virtual shackles.
Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

Hell no that cape is not worth it but if you've played for years and you don't comp when the game gets easier and shit, it makes you look like you suck.

I gave up on comp after reaper title req, solo bosses im down with but group bossing? fk that shit some pvmers be aholes theres other stupid dead content requirements but you can deal with that cuz you can do em on ur own but overall nah shit aint worth it =/

Keep in mind that games are best played for fun, not work. If maintaining Comp will feel more like a job than a way to enjoy the game then don't bother.

If you're after parti-cools then obviously it's worth it 5/7.
If you have a nervous break down interacting with other players in a manner besides following each other in the Tower of Voices then don't bother.

Never fancied it myself, sounds like a lot of upkeep. Aiming for a good 120 cape instead personally.

This^.

Unless you want to constantly upkeep it every week, then id say no.

I think it is, especially for pvm. Plus it's a nice overall achievement and looks better than max. If you play regularly it's not difficult to keep up with all the new reqs. Sure some of them could be annoying, but I generally like unlocking, completing content.

I'd say it's worth getting if you do a lot of combat. In that respect, upgrading your cape from max to completionist is a small but noticeable bonus. You get the best item in cape slot, after all. You have to be prepared complete a variety of new content roughly every month or so to reclaim it though.

But above all else, only do it if you enjoy it.

Different answer for different people. Personally I can't be bothered with some of the reqs and accept there's a 99% chance I'd never do them. Similarly I accept there's VERY likely to be future reqs I once again cbf to do. So for me, no it's not worth it. If you feel your personal gratification or pride of obtaining it outweighs the cons you can think of that apply to you, it'll be worth it.
