unless you're into pro PvM and want best stats, or care about having it collect ur arrows then not worth it in the slightest.

as said above max cape does what comp cape was sought after - teleports and decent stats.

as with most things on rs, old useful things are being shafted my Spin promotions anyways, so might as well focus on making money to spin instead to get those bonuses.

(*(*(*(**(* Weyburns )*)*)*)*)*)*) lol. I can't progress in that quest to kill Goblins in Nomad's Elegy even. I'm so weakkkkkkkk. 2 hours on that and I think there's a part 3 before I even meet Nomad's horror. ......... I keep trying to learn EOC but I'm a fail. It's been too long since I did Legazy so I'd prolly fail there too.

Will be prodding my friends for help once these festivities are over. lol. need more clock time in a day.

I had comp back in the day; I don't miss it.

I haven't reclaimed mine since Feb 2014. I miss it. But I'm weaaaakkkkkkkk to Bosses. My New Yr's resolution will be to have it back b4 2018 ... maybe. :@

i find useless 120's and livid farm much much harder.

What is keeping me from comp is livid farm and 120 dung. I am doing daily challenges for dung so eventually livid farm will be the last obstacle left standing, at that point i guess ill just force myself to do it.

I always enjoy trying new content and i like completing stuff, so the vast majority of comp requirements happened naturally. With a few standing out as sore thumbs (useless bones to peaches spell comes to mind)

To me, exploring the various game content it is required for was well worth it. Not necessarily for the cape itself (as an item), but the motivation to complete and explore lots of game content you never did before. Not to mention that completing its requirement have specific benefits in their own field, which when combined together, might become "objectively worth it", but I wouldn't look too deeply into that, as after maxing out, there is less things to do in-game anyway. It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation. ~Herman Melville

I have been comped (on my main account) however this account never will be. Best fun I've had since comp cape release is not having the cape!

Comp cape, while it has some nice features is not much more than an re-colourable ardy cape with a max guild tele and some combat stats that really don't make a lot of difference.

The content you need to do (that you may normally not choose to do) and the time invested in both getting and maintaining the cape, actually make it one of the worst bang for buck rewards in game. Nothing else costs so much for such a small return.

If you want the cape then go for it, just don't be a slave to it!

Imo. comp cape was fun on the day of release for 5 minutes, beyond that it's just... meh.

High level liberation. Burn your comps. Stand up and say no to being oppressed by Newreqs!
Accidently surged up a dinosaurs ass, became stuck then activated double surge and burst out its chest alien-style!
Got his dragon mattocks then crashed the clan citadel into Anachronia wiping out the dinosaurs.
