requirements: hundreds of hours worth of content

worth? probably not, but that's just my opinion

I would suggest going for it. While the reqs might be boring, the knowledge gained in the process is priceless. the perks of the cape are not what a completionist aims for, its the feats and knowledge that it took to get it. sure, some people do it for the particles, and other things. the true completionists get it because they enjoy exploring every aspect of the game.

Your true completionists will have master quest cape, completionist cape, and trimmed completionist cape.

I still firmly believe that getting it is worth it for the content it makes you complete, which in my previous post I mentioned may be "objectively worth it" on its own, but after I checked the Wikia list again, now I'm even more sure that it is worth it. Below I will list the requirements and the benefits they provide (some will provide indirect benefits, or no benefits at all, but the "Overall" benefit is what should be noted:

Please note that I will combine certain requirements into a Category, which will result in skipping the mention of some specifically named requirements.

• All quests completed.

A noticeable amount of quests provides gameplay advantages, and the vast majority of them (if not all) provides experience points in specific skills/skill of choice.

• All magic spells unlocked from Livid Farm.

While this have been a long dreaded requirement, the time it takes has been recently halved, and the spells you unlock while completing it are useful for certain things. Not to mention if Livid Farm rewards have been enhanced/added on, you would have a head start to take advantage of that.

• Bones To Peaches unlocked from the Mage Training Arena.

"Currently" not a useful spell (as far as I know), but it may have uses in the future, or current uses I'm unaware of.

• Unlocked the Tune Bane Ore spell from a scroll in Ritual of the Mahjarrat.

Essential for killing Rune Dragons (and helps with killing other things slightly faster), which can help with Slayer, money-making, and unlocking Kethsi's outfit.

• All Varrock Museum Kudos earned.

Some quests have a specific number of Kudos earned required, and that may continue in the future, too.

• Unlocked all Music tracks.

This naturally unlocks itself while completing requirement (for the most part). The direct benefit of it is being able to listen to the specific Music track unlocked.

• Completed all Miniquests.

I will not list every one of them, but it have been historically proven in Runescape that certain quests starting can depend on the completion of certain miniquests. Having them completed gives you a head start every time they're required for new content/quests, not to mention that they have specific rewards on their own (but would take too long to mention them all).

• Defeat Tarn Razorlor and find his secrets.

Unlocks Salve amulet (e), which raises the wearer's damage and accuracy by 20% for all combat styles while fighting undead monsters. This helps out significantly while killing Eddimus, which helps with experience points for slayer/combat, money-making, and unlocking its pet.

• Reached the end of the Stronghold of Player Safety.

Unlocks cosmetic boots, and the Goblins spot there is best for its Champion Challenge scroll. Also, a few months back the Costumer Support clues depended greatly on the completion of the Stronghold of Player Safety, and these may make a return in the future (they are easy to complete, and can grant you quick money). They also help out with tips for security, but it is understandable the average maxed person will already know most of them (but I can assure you not all does, and probably far from it).

• Have scored at least 1,111 in a session of Big Chinchompa.

Encourages you to play that D&D efficiently, which provides instanced hunting areas, if you exchanged your rewards points for tickets. These areas have been reported to provide some of the best experience points per hour for hunting.

• Found all memoriam crystals on Freneskae.

Provides additional lore, and unlocks "Crest of Seren" head slot cosmetic override.

• Unlocked the Enhanced yaktwee stick by catching 1,000 charm sprites.

Provides 5%+ experience points while training Hunter. Will be useful all the way up to 200m Hunter exp.
