Here are some tips:
*Use Drakan's medallion (after The Branches of Darkmeyer, although completing it up to the part where SPOILER ALERT!! Ranis is killed SPOILER OVER will suffice) to teleport between Burgh de Rott and the Barrows for a quick bank.
*If you are out of prayer potions, or wish to save some, teleport to Darkmeyer with the same medallion for easy (albeit slightly dangerous) access to an altar. Alternatively, bring an Ardougne Cloak for unlimited teleports to the Kandarin Monastery. It also gives a nice prayer bonus!
*Salamanders and their respective tars are a great weapon, with a magical, ranged and melee attack you can hit well in the 100's or even 200's. Due to the brothers' weak defences, you should get high hits quite often. This makes defeating SPOILER ALERT!! Akrisae the Doomed considerably easier, since you can switch attack styles in one click.
*If using prayer (which I recommend), use armour with a high prayer bonus. A relatively cheap set is Proselyte armour, which also has reasonable defences against the monsters in the crypt. Bring food though! An inventory of monkfish should suffice for 2-3 runs.
*Kill the brothers in order of dangerousness. Ahrim does not hit often (even with melee armour) and has very low defences against melee and ranged. Karil hits high and often (even on melee armour), but has low defences. Dharok and Verac hit high and quite often and one should pray, blasting magical damage at them. Guthan and Torag do not hit very often, but are still dangerous - pray and use magical spells. Akrisae van hit very high (though not as high as a low-health Dharok), but not often. He is weak to melee and ranged, so pray and switch attack styles as he prays.
*You no longer need to bring a spade; spades at each mound galore!
*Kill bloodworms or small crypt rats for killcount. Skeletons and giant crypt spiders have higher HP and hit higher and more frequent, as opposed to the other monsters.

Quick Guide:
VERY RECOMMENDED to have a house with altar and canafis portal! Quick trips
Equipment: Polypore staff, mage armour top and bottom, dragon boots, prayer book, glory/fury, ring of wealth, reverance aura, mage hat of some kind.
Inventory: armour top and botom, a spec weapon (dds/claws), main weapon (whip,rapier), 2-4 prayer pots (4), 8-10 pieces of food, home teleport.
Sequence: Dharok, Verac, Torag, Guthan, Karil, Ahrim
Dharok: mage robes and pray melee. mage him
Verac, armour, no prayer but use super defence if you have, mage him
Torag: mage robes and pray melee, mage him
Guthan: mage robes and pray melee, mage him
Karil: mage robes and pray range, mage him but use half dds spec first
Ahrim: mage robes, pray magic, use dds spec then melee.
Tunnel: wear armour and wield staff. remmeber where the rope is because you will be doing 2-3 trips. find you door, open it and kill 6-10 creatures. HIGH CHANCE of brother showing when opening doors. if so, drink one dose and kill accordingly.
Open chest and run back to rope or home tele.
Repeat.

1. Kill in this order (Dharok, Ahrims, Karil, Guthans, Torags and finally Veracs) This order is great as Dharok can hit extremely high due to the full set of armours special which is to hit higher as its health depletes, Ahrims is a good second as if you don't want to waste extra Space in your inventory bringing magic defence armour e.g. Karils you can simply use the leftover prayer you have from killing Dharok. After this The other brothers are fairly easy and you cannot use protect mele on Verac as its special ability is to hit through prayer.
2. Make sure you have either Slayer Dart or can afford to use the Polypore staff as the mele brothers are extremely easy to kill with these as they have extremely low magic defence
3. Every Time you enter a crypt/tunnel you will be steadily be drained for you're prayer points. Never sit around in crypts whilst you have prayer left, if you're high enough level to run around in the tunnels without taking to much damage don't wast your prayer potions potting to early (The barrows brothers you have not yet defeated can spawn randomly as you move throughout the tunnels) as when they spawn you can either quickly pot up and start attacking them taking 1/2 hits, or just run away as fast as you possibly can and exit another door (don't worry the brother wont disappear, this gives you time to do anything you need to do)
4. BRING A SPADE, never forget this.
5.Make sure not to enter the tunnels within the crypts before killing all the other barrows brothers, if you enter after only killing 1/2 it makes being down in the tunnels so much harder. Its 100% easier to kill the other 5 barrows brothers then enter the tunnel within the last barrows brother.
6. W31 is the official barrows brother world, scared of losing your possessions? This is a q task, you can lose your items there. there is a much higher chance of your grave being blessed as there will be allot more people here.

first: kill karil with melee (range pray)
then: kill ahrim with ranged or melee because ahrim lowers melee stats so kill karil first (mage pray)
third: use vecna skull then use poly staff on dharok(melee pray) , verac , torag, guthan
tips: u can use entangle if u don't want to get hit (doesn't work with ahrim and karil)
use prayer renewal
use elite void for pray bonus and more damage
use dds/claws on karil/ahrim for faster kills
have row on!!!
drakan's ammy for teles
reverence ftw

Tip 1: If you can, use the black salamander on it's "magic" setting to quickly deal with the melee brothers. Black salamanders use an ammunition called "Harralander tar."
Tip 2: Wear armour that provides the best available prayer bonuses to minimize prayer potion usage. Pretentious out of context quote in italics
