Zamorak's Union issued an announcement stating that it would provide a convoy of ships large enough to ensure no Camelite interference to any Captain who needed to make a journey through the patrolled waters. Where these ships were currently was unclear but the offer nevertheless remained open to anyone wishing to avoid being boarded. The Union would defy this attempt by the Camelites to police the Central Sea as if they owned it.

To the Camelites themselves a simple message was sent, the fleet that would be deployed meant nothing to the Union now, a relic left over from when the organization still had need of ships in the Central Sea. The Camalites could of course destroy the fleet but it was large enough to ensure the cost to their own fleet would be substantial if not enormous and would gain them nothing whatsoever, the defense being far overkill of what it would be used to protect.

The gates of West Ardougne opened once more, rows and rows of steel clad armsmen poured out. At the head of the army was a unit of mounted armsmen led by General Gregory Forge. The army had one destination /Camelot/.
It's just business.

A letter bearing the seal of the Grand Duke of Sarimia and his family arrived at the Castle of Camelot, where it would be addressed to the new king and his court. Upon it, it read:

"To the King Xel Praven of the Camelites,

In the brief time that I had to know your predecessor, King Tommen Calderon, we had made agreements which set a foundation for peace between our two nations. Despite his Hand's threats towards my life, when you and I met at my wedding, you seemed reasonable and level-headed, capable of diplomacy and a true leader among your people.

So I write to you bewildered and concerned that I might have gave you any reason to proceed with such undiplomatic conduct in my court, when your representative, Jekyll Vortivask, demanded that we pay tribute to your kingdom, and that I pledge loyalty to you as if you were an emperor. When I declined and dismissed him from my court, he made it clear to me that he, and so you, did not intend to act in the interest of peace and prosperity as your predecessor did.

After meeting with the Kharidian Caliph, Tumuh, we have come to an agreement that we must handle this matter with the utmost interest in ending this conflict before it begins. I invite you to meet with me in the Palace of the Caliph in Al Kharid, which His Holiness has so graciously offered as neutral ground, so that we may resolve the matter under his mediation. Let us bring these tensions down, and return ourselves once more to normal."

Your friend and ally,
His Highness,
Grand Duke of Sarimia,
Stephen Lavelle,
Protector of the Realm,
Duke of Laveranne
Hi, I'm Dan.

The fleet of Camelite ships that had remained in Sarimian waters for quite some time now lifted their anchors and set sail out of the bay, the three Redbrand ships included. It appeared that they were pulling back to their homeland as they left Sarimian waters. The citizens and soldiers could rest easy.

But those in Rimmington would not rest easy much longer, as once the ships left Sarim controlled waters, they swung back around to head toward Rimmington, though they never got close, they merely avoided contact with any merchant ships.
