By order of the Lord Chancellor, distributed fliers would be collected and destroyed. By law, any Burthorpian enlisting in any foreign military does so in the knowledge that their citizenship shall be revoked, unless permitted by His Majesty's government.

This would not have been contested. Word quickly spread, I assume, that a handful (probably around three) Kingsguard had arrived from Camelot. They, too, would remove any of the fliers they came in contact with. The Kingsguard also carried a sealed letter. (Which will come around soon.)
The above mentioned Kingsguard would have finally arrived at the Keep to deliver a dispatch from the Chief Ambassador. It was odd to see the Kingsguard outside of Camelot, likely so even to foreigners. It may be assumed that the King is planning a trip himself.
"To King Baldwin,
It has been brought to the King's attention that members of his court have acted against the sovereign nation of Asgarnia, and the laws established by it. King Tommen offers his condolences on the matter regarding recruitment for the Foreign Legion, and conveys his hope of a prosperous relationship.
The man behind these ads has been stripped of duties and titles. Despite the last invitation going unanswered; King Tommen requests that you, King Baldwin of Asgarnia, journey to Camelot to speak with him at your earliest convenience.

Amidst the chaos gripping the kingdom at the moment, a letter written upon thick parchment paper would be found in five different locations around the kingdom namely Burthorpe castle, Imperial Guard district, the Pick and Lute, the township area of Burthorpe, and St. Edwards Palace. In the matter of a few hours, skirmishes erupted throughout Burthorpe and Taverley as men clad in studded leathers and light armor clashed with the Imperial Guard. Among the many skirmishes, this letter would find it's way to be delivered to the above places. It would read:
To the folk of Burthorpe and Taverley,
Your King is dead. If you wish to say your goodbye's to His Majesty, please report to the Palace where he sits upon his blood-soaked throne, breeches around his ankles, and throat slashed open. But before you leave the palace, you will bend the knee to me and my soldiers. Now more than ever, you'll be needing a guiding hand. To save you from yourselves and the unnecessary regimes of these noble houses such as Grey. Cast off your shackles and kill your neighbors.
Henceforth, Lady Lucile Sicarius is your new liege. I command that the Imperial Guard be disbanded and it's commanders slaughtered. For those that wish to keep their lives, they may report to the palace and be received by myself.
I don't come to rule fairly, justly, nor similarly so. I come to raid your coffers and hold you hostage until my rule be solidified and your defiance suppressed.
All contestants will be welcome.
Yours Truly,
Lady Lucile Sicarius
of Burthorpe and Taverley
An elegantly large crimson seal was at the bottom of the parchment, molded as though it were quickly crafted and stamped on. It was displayed as 'LS' with a black ribbon melded behind it and loosely hanging low past the seal.

Lucile Sicarius has killed the King and taken control of the castle, palace (landscaled; Warrior's Guild), and the wall separating Burthorpe/Taverley. Character's affiliated in the past with the Sicarius are welcome to join her in the slaughter.
Burthorpe and Taverley, while a war zone, is loosely under her control. New allies of a similar alignment are welcome to join the fray.

Kaeso moved immediately on the news of Baldwin's death, gathering his waiting troops and went out to secure Burthorpe's lands beyond its wall. The Blackmarch remained outside the grip of the Sicarius.
