A Proclamation on Rebellion
Many of His Majesty's subjects and vassals within the Blackmarch, an integral part of both the Kingdom of Burthorpe and of the Asgarnian Nation, have committed themselves to open rebellion against both King and Crown, forgetting the allegiance they owe to His Majesty who, by divine right, is their King and their overlord.
After various disorderly acts including:
1. The refusal of committing military service, as required from all vassals
2. The refusal of committing their dues in taxation, as required from all vassals
3. The refusal of committing to the protection of His Majesty's subjects, as required from all vassals.
Those in open rebellion against the Crown have, in their lands, disregarded the rule of law which is, by divine right, the rule of His Majesty, therefore the Crown and His Majesty's Government has seen fit to ensure the rule of law is enacted upon those who disregard its sacred tenets.
His Majesty appreciates his most loyal subjects and vassals in the Blackmarch, who resist the wickedness and deceit of their traitorous peers and commands them to assist the forces of the Crown in serve justice upon such peers in whatever way possible.
The Crown shall not overlook such crimes committed by rebels and traitors who cower in their forts, mercy shall not be delivered unless ordered by His Majesty. It should be noted, however, that the King's mercy shall not be afforded to those who continue to resist His Majesty's rule.
The offer that stands open to the traitors and rebels who run amok is delivered with great clarity:
Bend the Knee, or Die.
Saradomin Save the King.
Delivered at Court on the 11th of Septober, the Fifth Year of the Sixth Age.
