Soon after the Lord Marshal of Sarimia ordered the removal of Camelite recruitment fliers, and banished found and detained posters responsible, the court of Camelot may receive an envelope bearing the seal of the Grand Duke of Sarimia and his family. Upon opened, it read:
"To King Tommen of the Camelites,
And his esteemed court,
To put it simply, Tommen, the people of Sarimia are not happy. As their government, it is our duty to fulfill their needs and protect their freedom from those who would wish to take it from them, whether they be pirate or imperialist. Far too long, my people have suffered under men who made promises to them, yet only so that they may reap our crops, and ores, and use our ports to suit themselves. Yet, when it comes time to pay what is due, there is nothing to receive. Tommen, we ask you nothing of you, except what is owed to us.
Yet, it is quite clear to us that your intentions are like every other man and his promises before, and despite my patience for the growing grievances you have sown with my people and I, I can wait no longer when you decide that ours is yours to reap. You may have already heard by now that your recruitment in our lands, which you have been given no permission to do, has been stopped, and were it to continue, we will begin to hold your propagandists in our prisons rather than mercifully banish them back to your kingdom as we have. Your ships are causing anxiety in our ports, and my people grow worried of foreign occupiers like before. They will not stand for the aggressions displayed in their waters. So, we will not stand for them. I have offered your Hand, Kaito Calderon, cooperative investigation into the attack, and asked that he not act without first communicating with us while operating in our waters. Instead, your Hand threatened that I might hang from the crow's nest of a ship were another Camelite ship to be sunk by these attackers."
