More sails on the evening horizon, a standard sight for the Sarim bay. The lone Herring Buss slowly rode forth over the wide expanses of the sea, old Kandarin colours flapping wildly atop the mainmast in the wind, with an old merchant banner trailing behind upon the mizzen. The ship clawed her way north reefed topsails, fighting the wind as she thrashed along towards port.

A lone figure stood tall at the starboard bow of the ship, a leg lazily propped up upon the bowsprit. The wind sang above him in the taunt weather-rigging, blustering around his ears as he stood balancing to the roll of the waves below. Keen eyes scanned the scene before him, settling upon the largest of the Kandar fleet.

‘There’ He spoke finally, head tilting to address the hand behind him ‘Let us begin.’

Behind him, the hands started to hoist a large net from the hold, standard practise at the ship sailed into harbour to hurry the process of unloading. The oddly full net hung heavy from the winches, dangling above the deck as the ship rocked in the wind.

‘Now.’ The figure at the bow called, and to the outside world it seemed as if disaster had struck. Sliced ropes from the weather rigging shot violently into the air as the tension was released, the sails bulging widely as the ship began to tack sharply starboard, directly towards the largest of the sitting Kandar vessels.

In the eyes of the beholder, it seemed as if tragedy had struck the ship, a loose rigging snapping free and throwing the whole ship into chaos. Though as the heavy vessel ploughed forward quickly towards the Kandar First-Rate, a more haunting prospect would dawn. Smoke began to bellow from the hold, and the ship’s jolly boat splashed down into the water with the skeleton crew quickly abandoning their vessel. The Kandar flag was struck, flying free into the wind, and hoisted in its place rose the black flag of piracy.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

The figure at the bow took one look up at the black, giving a content sigh at the job done, before pushing himself up and over the bow to leap from the smoking ship, plunging down into the dark sea below.

The First-Rate had been given less than minutes to process the attack, nowhere near enough time to do escape. Even if the officer of the watch had been actively watching the Herring Buss, the hands would only just be reaching their quarters when disaster struck. The Buss continued straight into the side of the large warship, wood smashing against wood as the two ships tangled.

An explosion of fire rose as the Buss was tossed in the collision, the two hulls fracturing together and the inferno within spewing out into the innards of the much larger warship. Sails tangled with sails, fire and impact causing the masts to creak and snap, the hoisted net falling onto the deck of the warship and the barrels smashing open, before igniting and exploding in a ball of fire. The Buss crew had hoisted as much gunpowder as the hoists could carry, and now it fell into the fire below and ripped out the centre of each ship, spewing flame in every direction.

Both ships, broken and aflame, would have minutes left before the swirling seas began to drag them down, however the unfortunate crew of the First-Rate were not even granted that time, with the inferno rushing through the ship, it would only be a small matter of time before the warships magazine was exposed to the flame, and each vessel would be further obliterated there upon the Sarim Bay.

Moving ever further from the disaster, the lone pirate jolly boat frantically rowed towards shore, frantically trying to reach land so they could escape into the early night.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

ON BEHALF OF THE CROWN OF TOMMEN CALDERON, KING OF CAMELOT

There would be a great deal of activity on the docks of Sarimia, as the Camelite sailors began to hammer large plates to their ships. To those passing by, they would snicker amongst themselves as they watched the happenings. The sailors faces were weather-beaten and wrinkled. Their eyes watched the mouth of the port. They were preparing. Extended lanterns hung from the ships and the men seemed to keep a cork on the ale barrels.

Even the Camelite guards seemed to have a greater hop to their step. Their armour literally shone through the day as they walked around, guarding their ships and the precious cargos that lay aboard them. The ships out at sea moved slowly, staying within a few hundred meters of each other.

Camelots Naval fleet seemed to be on the aggressive, and were surronding both innocent and suspected ships alike on the Sarimia Straits. The loss of their First-Rate had obviously angered some of the older men, but cooler heads prevailed. There were new orders aswell. Any ship flying that approached both during the Dog watch and the break of dawn that didn't fly the flag of Camelot, was immedatily detained for questioning.

The Hand sat sipping wine as he shuffled through the papers. He smiled to himself as he signed them. "A fine order, the men will enjoy this. Fortis Fortuna Aduivant."

Humble Servant of His Majesty the King.

The TL: DR version.

Kaito has ordered the ships of Camelot to act as if they are at war and guarding a tactical point. All ships are on high alert. Any ships that approach the merchant convoy on the Straits is detainied. Sarimia's port is now also the most well lit, as Camlite ships are extra bright thanks to the extended watch. Any ship that approaches within 50-100ft of the docked ships without changing course, or making for dock immedatily will have a warning shot fired across it's bow from the swivel guns.

Any ship stupid enough to continue trying to attack the Camelite ships will resemble swiss cheese.

The metal plates on the sides and rear of the ships make in nigh impossible to board and are there to help deflect cannon shots on the vessel, and also make it look more intimdating. Each naval convoy consists of 3 marauders, 5 man o' wars, 4 skimmers and a whole bunch of arrow boats.

Each ship docks an hour before sundown and leave an hour before sunrise, with guards awake at all hours around the night. Each ship is docked within 50-100 ft of each other to avoid any chain reactions should it's gunpowder stores be breached.

Sarimian ships and those associated with friendly nations are treated the same as other Camelite ships and will be given a wide bearth, only coming close to get basic knowledge and infromation. All large vessels that ignore the hails from Camelite convoys are treated as suspicous.

Zamorak's Union issued an announcement stating that it would provide a convoy of ships large enough to ensure no Camelite interference to any Captain who needed to make a journey through the patrolled waters. Where these ships were currently was unclear but the offer nevertheless remained open to anyone wishing to avoid being boarded. The Union would defy this attempt by the Camelites to police the Central Sea as if they owned it.

To the Camelites themselves a simple message was sent, the fleet that would be deployed meant nothing to the Union now, a relic left over from when the organization still had need of ships in the Central Sea. The Camalites could of course destroy the fleet but it was large enough to ensure the cost to their own fleet would be substantial if not enormous and would gain them nothing whatsoever, the defense being far overkill of what it would be used to protect.
