The Commodore's Fleet had been carrying out operations within Sarimian Waters for several days, and they seemed very proficient in their duties. Merchants would report that Camelite vessels had not only scared pirates off, but engaged multiple hostile vessels in ship-to-ship artillery fire and boarding parties.

Despite Camelite and Kharidian Vessels being priority for the fleet, the Commodore's vessels have offered high-rate security for friendly foreign vessels within Sarimian Waters aswell.

Thorough reports would be delivered by pidgeon to the Archduke when available.

It was early in the morning that sails dawned upon the horizon, growing ever nearer to the onlookers of Sarim. The five vessels bore the insignia of no nation, instead each flying only the banner of the Red Stripe. Upon inspection of these foreign sails, authorities on land would be able to identify three large cargo ships in convoy, laden with covered equipment and sailing low in the water, evidently full to the brim. Escorting said cargo were two fifth-rate frigates, their two gun decks an ever present warning against the smaller pirate sloops that roamed the distant waters.

Wary of the intrusive Camelot fleet, the escorting warships drew ahead with the hands being called to quarters to assure there would be no outside interference from the Kandars.

The Red Stripe had come to Port Sarim, and it had come with a heavy cargo.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

The Camelite fleet would not intrude on any vessel that did not specifically ask for protection in the waters. Signals would be sent, but it would seem that they were not responded to,

More sails on the evening horizon, a standard sight for the Sarim bay. The lone Herring Buss slowly rode forth over the wide expanses of the sea, old Kandarin colours flapping wildly atop the mainmast in the wind, with an old merchant banner trailing behind upon the mizzen. The ship clawed her way north reefed topsails, fighting the wind as she thrashed along towards port.

A lone figure stood tall at the starboard bow of the ship, a leg lazily propped up upon the bowsprit. The wind sang above him in the taunt weather-rigging, blustering around his ears as he stood balancing to the roll of the waves below. Keen eyes scanned the scene before him, settling upon the largest of the Kandar fleet.

‘There’ He spoke finally, head tilting to address the hand behind him ‘Let us begin.’

Behind him, the hands started to hoist a large net from the hold, standard practise at the ship sailed into harbour to hurry the process of unloading. The oddly full net hung heavy from the winches, dangling above the deck as the ship rocked in the wind.

‘Now.’ The figure at the bow called, and to the outside world it seemed as if disaster had struck. Sliced ropes from the weather rigging shot violently into the air as the tension was released, the sails bulging widely as the ship began to tack sharply starboard, directly towards the largest of the sitting Kandar vessels.

In the eyes of the beholder, it seemed as if tragedy had struck the ship, a loose rigging snapping free and throwing the whole ship into chaos. Though as the heavy vessel ploughed forward quickly towards the Kandar First-Rate, a more haunting prospect would dawn. Smoke began to bellow from the hold, and the ship’s jolly boat splashed down into the water with the skeleton crew quickly abandoning their vessel. The Kandar flag was struck, flying free into the wind, and hoisted in its place rose the black flag of piracy.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

The figure at the bow took one look up at the black, giving a content sigh at the job done, before pushing himself up and over the bow to leap from the smoking ship, plunging down into the dark sea below.

The First-Rate had been given less than minutes to process the attack, nowhere near enough time to do escape. Even if the officer of the watch had been actively watching the Herring Buss, the hands would only just be reaching their quarters when disaster struck. The Buss continued straight into the side of the large warship, wood smashing against wood as the two ships tangled.

An explosion of fire rose as the Buss was tossed in the collision, the two hulls fracturing together and the inferno within spewing out into the innards of the much larger warship. Sails tangled with sails, fire and impact causing the masts to creak and snap, the hoisted net falling onto the deck of the warship and the barrels smashing open, before igniting and exploding in a ball of fire. The Buss crew had hoisted as much gunpowder as the hoists could carry, and now it fell into the fire below and ripped out the centre of each ship, spewing flame in every direction.

Both ships, broken and aflame, would have minutes left before the swirling seas began to drag them down, however the unfortunate crew of the First-Rate were not even granted that time, with the inferno rushing through the ship, it would only be a small matter of time before the warships magazine was exposed to the flame, and each vessel would be further obliterated there upon the Sarim Bay.

Moving ever further from the disaster, the lone pirate jolly boat frantically rowed towards shore, frantically trying to reach land so they could escape into the early night.
We come here with no peaceful intent, but ready for battle, determined to avenge our wrongs and set our country free.

Galewood's already slightly occupied, I suggest you go train elsewhere?
