This recent upturn in global military posturing is not at its conclusion. A sizeable detachment of Kandarin’s Eastern Fleet abruptly ceased its routine escort mission and set course for the waters of Southern Asgarnia.
By declaration of the Crown, the Kingdom of Kandarin hereby issues a trade embargo upon the Peasant Republic of Draynor and the Grand Republic of Varrock effective immediately. These nations are found guilty of threatening the sovereignty and financial stability of Kandarin by disrupting its trade interests and imposing on its borders through aggressive expansion. This declaration shall be enforced by the naval blockade of Port Sarim and the River Lum where any and all vessels attempting passage shall be commandeered in the name of the Crown and its cargo seized. Restriction of further commercial activity on land is to be enforced by armsmen patrols deployed along known trade routes and to the support of Caliphate forces.
Not long after this declaration became public would Kandar warships begin their new patrol. The crimson banner could be seen between Musa Point and Karamja, the Wizard’s Tower and Musa Point, as well as Lumbridge Swamp and the Kharidian Desert.

In the intervening period of the blockade of Misthalin, waves and swells would buffet the ships almost relentlessly. The wind shifted every few hours, causing a nightmare for trying to remain in one location, and by the gods
the rain
started a few days in. It was a harsh, driving rain coming from the sea, this time of year striking the decks of ships like bullets and freezing into sleet within a few minutes. Morale would likely dip as the rain continued on for days with no sign of stopping.
Reports from other spots outside the blockade would indicate dry, clear skies. Seemingly this storm was affecting only the blockade itself. If any ships moved through the seas just south of the Wizard's Tower they'd find currents dragging them against the rocks.

Nature apparently didn't like this blockade.
Even within the first day of this strange occurrence, the Kingdom of Kandarin responded.
Delivered via magical means directly onto the ships were a number of skilled mages straight from the Mages' Guild, and alongside them, the High King himself. His renown and prestige was certainly backed by his knowledge and prowess in dealing with such circumstances. The rumors of the High King having abilities related to change the weather, the atmosphere itself, were suddenly no longer rumors.
After an hour of studying the machination and cause of this seemingly focused and direct attack of nature, he'd easily find that it was not the cause of nature at all. With but a signal to the other mages, Axel gestured his arms forward, and began directly combating the sea's rage. The wind would return to normal, and rain clouds dispersed against his magic. A wide radius of magical warmth permeated the area as the mages worked.

So I had an idea for a plot taking place in Camelot and I was wondering if you were interested in hearing it. Hit me up on Discord Diddlerino#7918

"Something, something, inspirational quote." -Me, just now.
The population of the grand Kingdom was alive with voices as word began to spread like wildfire. The noblemen prepared and the town criers cried; chants of the inception of an Empire were heard by ears both excited and troubled. A time of change was surely upon the people of Kandarin. Though Imperialism was not something that settled well with all souls,
given Kandar history. Perhaps this time would be different..?
Establishment of the Holy Kandar Empire
By the authority of the Crown, the government of the
Kingdom of Kandarin
is dissolved to be immediately replaced by the
Holy Kandar Empire
.
High King Axel Vekon
now assumes the title
Emperor of Kandarin
by the grace of Saradomin’s Light and the will of the People. The word of the
Emperor
is the highest authority, objected by none. The power of the
Emperor
precedes that of the monarchs that rule the kingdoms within the Empire. The seat of power is no longer Castle Ardougne and is instead now
Dragonstone Keep
. The
Empire’s
dominion is presently made up of these kingdoms and their surrounding territories: the Crownlands, Arenvale, Camelot, Eastmarch, Rellekka, and Kardia.
