Territorial Boundaries

Dating back to the very founding of the Kingdom of Misthalin in ages past, the historical and rightful claims are to:

Varrock
Lumbridge
Draynor
Edgeville
The Salve

The Kingdom of Misthalin borders the Kingdom of Asgarnia to the West. With the Marsh of Edgeville and Gunnarsgurnn acting as the cut off points. To the East, the Salve border is the natural border between Misthalin and the Dying Lands of Mortyanian. In the Southeast, the Kingdom of Misthalin borders the lands ruled by the Al-Kharid Crown.

Geographic Landscape

The Kingdom of Misthalin holds a number of different types of landscapes. With the urban landscape and the surrounding small villages around the Capital of Varrock that makes up the Crownlands. To the forests and hilly land of the Marsh of Silvera to the breadbasket of Lumbridge that supplies the Kingdom and the surrounding Kingdoms with grain and wheat to survive. And lastly the hilly and now nearly dead March of Edgeville that saw the worse of the battles between the forces of ASgarnia, Camelot and the Kinshra.

The City of Varrock and the Crownlands

Vassal: House Lansing
Ruler: King Darian, Queen Anora
Capital: Varrock, The Royal Palace
Population: 250,000
Settlements: Ashworth, Saranshire, Dorn*ic*

Varrock and the lands surrounding it makes up the Crownlands of the Kingdom. Directly ran by the Crown or the Lords of the Crownlands, it has the largest population density in the Kingdom. The City of Varrock is thought to be the largest in the entire known land and is the largest metropolitan center ever built.

Varrock is the center of politics in the Kingdom. With the Royal Palace housing the Royal Family and the entire Court. Alongside the visiting Kingdom personal and and nobles that have carried favor to have a room in it's man levels.

There are three smaller settlements that surround the City and make up the Crowlands. With only Dorn*ic* bearing land for farming, Ashworth and Saranshire are nothing more than poor little settlements where those who are not rich enough to live inside of the City nor find work there end up at.

The Duchy of Lumbridge

Vassal: Empty
Duke: Empty
Capitol: Lumbridge
Population: 60,000
Settlements: Draynor, Polonuis's Marsh, Lansingport, Widermere

Lumbridge was the center of the Kingdom of Southern Misthalin. Where the armies under the command of Queen Elrina marched forth to recapture Varrock and brought the Kingdom of Misthalin back together once more. In doing so Lumbridge is where the heart of every Misthalite's rests at.

Often called the breadbasket of Misthalin and nearly the world, Lumbridge's landscape is filled with soft rolling hills and fields of wheat. It is the richest part of Misthalin, with Lansingport being the center of trade for the Kingdom and the roads bearing the riches towards Varrock, it is a surprising quiet place though. With change coming slowly, or even at all.

There are other smaller settlements that lay around the duchy. The biggest ones; The County of Draynor, the Marshmen of Polonuis's Marsh, Lansingport, and the town of Widermere.

The March of Edgeville

Vassal: Empty
Marcher Lord: Empty
Capitol: Edgeville
Population: 10,000
Settlements: Alnwick, Paddwich

The March of Edgeville was never a grand nor great place to live. Living near the border to the Wilderness, crime was high and law enforcement low. After the attack of the Kinshra and then the burning of the main town, Edgeville, the March has truly seen better days. With a large military force of the local bannermen and other levies from the Kingdom, the rebuilding progress will be a slow one.

The March is mainly known for their lumber loads and the defense of the Wilderness. There are also some rare good that comes from deep Wilderness Traders. Odd weapons and even sometimes, rumors of dark and magical items being smuggled across.

The March of Silvarea

Vassal: Empty
Marcher Lord: Empty
Capitol: Ivandis's Burrow
Population: 25,000
Settlements: Argenweald, The Hollows, The Mountain Tribes

The March of Silvarea is a mostly quiet place compared to the rest of the Kingdom. With few travelers heading their way, the people of Silvarea keep to themselves. Surviving off their large lumber trade, most of the wood used in the Kingdom comes from the forests of Silvera.

Ivandis's Burrow is the seat of governance for the March, the largest of the small towns that littered the March. It is the center of the lumber industry in the Silvarea.

The men of the Silvarea are often paired with attacks from the creatures of the Dying Lands and the old Mountain Tribes that lived in the hills that border the River Salve. In doing so the men of Silvarea are most likely the most militant of the bannermen in Kingdom of Misthalin. Having survived in the land that is trying to kill them and filled with dark Folklore, they are the first line of defense if anything came from across the Salve.

Most importantly about the March of Silvarea is the number of Folktales and Folklore that surround the dark forests and hills. From the 'Headless Rider' to the Corrupted Vyrelords of the old stone ruins.
