Two posts which were targeting specific individuals have been removed.

The relevant part of one of these has been quoted below:

But really, you don't see this kind of drama on other games because they don't have full blown POKs, the closest you get are Noble House RPs and that's just fine. But the whole I own this land, I am king this of that, seems to be a big cause of issues in what's left of the community.

And now we're left with, what, six different POKs with varying degrees of canonicity depending on who you ask? Enough is enough. We've gone through this cycle over and over again. Let them end I say.

Yes, abolish PoK's. They create an artificial canon that deters new blood due to the relentlessly convoluted, lore-breaking nature it inherently has.

The literal feuds that have come with it have been creating a toxic air in this official, public forum that does nothing but reinforce the xenophobia of the community to its own detriment.

EDIT: Noble houses are a perfect alternative. They fit snugly in the lore without ruining canon royalty, and people who butt heads in specific kingdoms can IC'ly play it off as blood feuds between those houses instead of creating "split canons" OOC.

Once upon a time an alternative to PoK's was suggested and put in to action. It was very very successful internally, leading a great many roleplays and keeping things humble while also remaining involving for those with a taste for nobility. Based on the fact that none of the involved leadership or organizers for that are around anymore you can see how the "community" responded to it.

This "abolish pok" discussion has come up so many times, and each time it's been naysay'd. Seriously, go look through the 50 threads on this forum, when I was hunting back for links to post on the Catastrophe thread I realized just how many had been made over the years. Some people nodded and went "yeah get rid of them" but most people nodded and went "fair point but no."

Until October-November I had only ever gotten involved in organizing/leading a PoK structure a single time, in 2014 when I kicked TSG out, and I was only there for a transition period, being that I was the tool to kick them out and then I let a rebellion take it (before anybody says I contested it, I literally didn't even log in that day just so that it'd go over as smoothly as possible.)

I've made the argument as to what's going on so many times. At this point all I can do is just post a comic that Merca sent me after taking one look at the forums.

Then you probably metagamed it like every thing else you’ve done.
