Holiday event: The Nowhere King (Not canon)
A story was told, of the new adventurers traveling to Civitas illa Fortis, the capital city of the kingdom of Varlamore. A flyer from the Quest board had asked them to speak to Queen Queen Zyanyi Arkan, signed by her and given a royal seal. Once arrived, one of them bumped into a deaf old man, who was speaking in Gielinorian Common Sign Language. The mute member of the group would speak with them in the same language, where the old man warns them of something, pointing at, what seems to be, the sky. Before they could ask the old man what they are pointing at, he ran away, screaming.
The group were concerned, but decided to continue to the castle, maybe the quest had something to do with what ever the old man warned them of. When arrived, the guards were extremely confused about the group's flyer, calling for the ambassador of the queen, to see if the flyer is legit, which was. They were informed that the Queen left about a week ago for diplomatic reasons. But, there was something odd about the reasoning, the group noticed the guards and ambassador pausing for a few seconds, as if they're trying to remember why the Queen was not there.
The group, frustrated at first, would soon realize that the guards were starting to question their own memories, thanks to one of the sorcerers in the party. This leads to the group departing and planning away from ears of the castle. Trying to figure out what's going on, all becomes theory, even the sky turned out empty when a winged member attempted to search it.
They decided to speak to the old man, the deaf old man who spoke with and warned their mute member. They split up and searched for the old man, who was found by the mute member, trying to tackle them down to talk to them. But the old man struggled, telling them that "he' was here and will now kill them both, signing,
The Nowhere King.
