While I'd generally agree with you in most cases, it's unusually convenient for you guys to enact all of your character's reasons for antagonizing ours just as you're removed from OOC power. There were months worth of time for you guys to attack the Ergasts, but nothing was done, despite having sufficient reason to do so until there was an OOC grudge at stake- that being, you guys getting kicked out of power.


I'd keep arguing, but I don't need to- not to rat Merc out, but he already told me about your combined efforts, and Vho's apparent objective, to kill the Ergasts a fairly long time ago. This was shown when at around the same time area, both the Ergasts in Draynor were attacked by Fyre and the Ergasts in Falador were targeted by Merc.

Do you have the character motives to do it? Sure. However, it becomes a really nasty meta move when you suddenly take advantage of character motives only to get back at people for OOC reasoning.

Yes, that happened. I know Merc told you about it. I know you knew about it. However, the OOC timing actually had nothing to do with it. First, we weren't removed from OOC power at the time of the Kaiser trying to kill Ergast (IE you because you self-impose yourself into your characters) so that's got nothing to do with it. I told them that I was going to do it, and they took backseats and worked with me. I also should mention the way you metagamed/Rofl-survived/godmodded your way out of it. And warn other w42'ers of your methods.

Basically, your main point in saying that we (I) metagamed to kill you because we didn't like you OOCly is invalid because it simply isn't true. I wanted your character dead as an enemy of the state during the time of a civil war. Of course we wanted you dead OOCly but there wasn't a way to do it ICly. Once I told them that I was going to do it (mostly because it came up in a conversation) yes they wanted in on it. We all wanted it OOCly. But we as RP'ers did not do it (or at least I didn't, I can't speak for merc) until it fit the story.

Edit a few hours after I made this post: Wow I f*cked up this grammar. I'd rewrite it now but I have work in less than 5 hours and I need sleep. I'll rewrite it after work tomorrow. Sheesh I am ashamed of myself. The Blood is Brave.

I remember trying to get involved in the roleplay community to see what it was like, a few years back. The first thing I got was being accused of being someone else, and then told that my character was a mary sue because they weren't the talk of the town, and experimented with a witch's color dye on their hair.

I'm confused as to the purpose of this sudden return. Is it to play an antagonist narrative on past mistakes for the purpose of gloating and/or get the last laugh?

I only ask because I've already expressed my willingness to help re-establish a community on W41, and my desire for my part to be minimal and brief, and yet feel like my helping hand has been slapped away.

There has never been anything, other than people's unwillingness to roleplay with you, stopping you from setting up your own roleplays and community. You could do it now, with or without help which has been offered, and no one could stop you. It is your own lack of effort on this front that denies you. So don't play victim or point blame at others unless your goal in this isn't to re-establish roleplay at all but rather to poke the dead horse. It's a pointless gesture.

So I'll ask more bluntly;

Do you want to re-establish a community on W41, of which you will ultimately be the designer of, and, if you do, do you want help from myself, or anyone else, or not? Roll a D20 to pay respects.

Now, now, Dast. With an attitude like that, aren't you making it apparent that you want New W41 to be as segregated and exclusionary as the old? ;)

Despite the fact that you're a liar, a hypocrite, and a power-seizing political realist, we've said nothing to insinuate that you do not have a place in this renovation effort. Of you we would request the same level of respect. I don't know how you plan on reviving the community if you're to continue the same old game of allowing some people through the gates but not others. SA wishes to be involved in this effort, and if this fact strikes fear into your heart, well, this says more of your own moral fragility than of any sinister intentions on our part.

If you think I don't trust you, you're right. I haven't forgotten the Misthalin Union, nor the true intentions behind the conception of Region of Fails . But if you prove through your actions that you'll be different this time around, then you deserve as much a place in this endeavor as anyone. The Blood is Brave.

Hey guys, so I know we've all had our differences in the past, but like I said in my last post, it's time for us to learn from them and move on.

That said, in about a months time, when people are (hopefully,) finished with Final Exams, I will be creating a new thread for 41 Roleplay.
