In order to stay near his wife and home, he took up with the local fisherman and often spent the day just outside harbour. It was long and tiresome work but, although he resented it, he did it out of love. This was his second regret.

Upon coming home early one day, Edward found his wife in the arms of another and a small pouch of gold on the table. The truth hurt but it came with its lessons. He lashed out and, before he could regain control of himself, his wife and her cilent lay dead. He fled the scene and quickly bribed his way onto a ship.

While aboard this trade vessel, he began to earn a reputation for being a man with nothing to lose. He picked fights quickly and ended them just as fast and soon was the most feared man aboard. It was then that he realised his lessons; fear is a tool.

Using fear, he rallied the crew into a mutiny, slew the captain and gave his family to the crew. At the age of 27, he began his pirate career. He began by attacking those he could afford to, putting on vast displays of his supposed might and power that most simply surrendered.

By the age of 30, Edward had amassed a small fleet of 15 ships of various sizes and types and had began operating from Karamja. He used shock tactics, fear and bullying to get what he wanted out of traders but knew not to overstep himself. He avoided authorities and strengthened ties with fellow pirates, eventually establishing a small network in Brimhaven which ensured the authorities stayed away.

He now stalks the sea aboard his greatest prize; a frigate which he named Guilt's Revenge and armed with thirty-two guns.

@Merax:

Hey dude, hopefully you see this asap. We're in a bind as the story is getting a bit bottlenecked atm. A lot of events now rest on the completion of the manor heist and we're hoping you can come on to do it very soon.

If, for whatever reason, you're unable to do so before this Saturday, we'll continue onto an alternative story and pick up the manor heist later. It's my desire that we do the manor heist first as it fits the story better and shows the need for some of these planned events to occur.

@Harryman:

I've decided to list your storyline in the featured storyline post as 1) there's enough space for it and 2) having already started it, yours acts as a sort of overstory connecting them all atm.

Username: Huntjarrat, not to be confused with Hunttah or Huntastic.

Character name: Nicholas Hazard

Race: Human

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Religion: Zamorakian

Profession: Bounty hunter

Appearance: 6'1" tall, 163 lbs. Nicholas is a handsome young man, with long light brown hair, dark blue eyes and no beard. He has broad shoulders, and appears to be in good shape. He has a few tattoos around his body, all of them connected to his life somehow.

Personality: A social guy. Likes to chat around. Most of the time, tries to be the center of attention. Friendly to most people, unless they behave unfriendly towards him, or his friends. Always has a trick up his sleeve in fights.

Strengths: A decent fighter with a sword, a good shooter with a crossbow. Quite strong. Knows a lot of people around, and is easy to talk to.

Brief History: Nicholas was born into a family in Edgeville, but moved to Varrock when he was very young. His only memories of his father was him and Nicholas' mother shouting and each other and his father leaving doors slamming behínd. He grew up without his father, but heard stories of him being an outlaw, which was nothing to brag about to him, and kept the stories to himself. He did get into trouble when he was younger because of his friends. Nicholas had a few people he looked up to, most important, his cousin, who was a high-ranked officer in the Varrockian army. His cousin told him about stories of his almost every time he visited and Nicholas wanted to become a soldier, like him.. Eventually, he left his gang of friends and tried to pursue a career in the military academy.

In the military academy, Nicholas was a fine student. He made friends, and was social. However, he did get envious of other students, because he really wanted to be the best. This drove him to cheating a few times, and using unorthodox methods. Almost at the end of his studies, Nicholas was exposed by a competitor of his and was expelled.
It was good.

After that, he was furious at the entire army and decided to offer his services to crimelords around Varrock. Nicholas was sent on missions around the city and he grew a name for himself, eventually becoming well-known amongst the people of Varrock. He became a personal guard of a crimelord at a young age, and for once, he was doing well. However, the crimelord Nicholas was serving was strong, but didn't know how to use his power, which would lead him to make big mistakes time after time, and his power in the city decreased. It didn't take too long for Nicholas to start hearing rumours of a group trying to take him down. He did not tell about this to his leader, but instead helped the rebels to take down the crimelord, otherwise the entire organization would be doomed.

One night, a group of men, one of them being Nicholas, broke into the crimelord's home and shot him. After that, it only took a day for the new leader to be chosen. The new leader realised that the organization wasn't as strong as he had thought, and didn't know what to do. The new leader became very paranoid of the people around, including Nicholas. Afterall, he had helped to murder the old leader.

Nicholas was warned about this, and knew this leader couldn't be dealt with in the same way as they did with the old one, as he was too paranoid and constantly surrounded himself with a group of guards. He and a few other thugs decided to give away information about the weak leader, to another crimelord, who eventually destroyed the organisation. Nicholas found himself working for another leader again, and he was sent to Sarim with a group of criminals to end a rival smuggling group and replace it.
It was good.

-WIP-

Name of the Storyline:
Ore for a blacksmith

Brief desciption:
Fenn Linford has been comissioned to make two exquisite weapons in both design and material. So he has decided to create a weapon of mithril. However, there are a few problems: Mithril is a rare material which can only be found at certain locations, the last location this ore was found is said to be a mine in the south Asgarnian swampland(Lumbridge swamp mine OOCly). Secondly the route nearby is filled with bandits who seem to have taken control of the mine. The blacksmith simply asks you retrieve the ores for him, offering several goldpieces for every piece of mithril.

Prefered Character types:
Adventure, Combat, Quest, Trade

Genre:
Adventure, Combat, Trade

Goal:
Retrieve two mithril ore and get back unscathed, the blacksmith offers 80 goldpieces for the batch of mithril. The quest will involve medium combat (1-3, possibly 4 bandits) as well as mining mithril. The result will be two Mithril shortswords (Mithril sword). Then a D20 will be rolled, if rolling 18 or higher the 'comissioner' will not show up and two of the group who retrieved the mithril will get to keep the swords.

Another important sidegoal however, would be for the players comissioned to work together, learn proper teamwork and perhaps a bond of friendship could be made for the near future.

Failure:
Failure could mean various downsides for your character, of which could possibly be captivity or even death. However if the players are crafty and cunning enough they should be able to get out of said situations.

BUMP for the SWEETS

told a few already, ill be on inn 7 or so hours, hopefully in time to watch The Manor Heist and if we have the time, begin the confrontation at Musa Point.

i have been thinking recently about creating a map of southern asgarnia including islands to and around karamja, musa point. what are people's thoughts on this? when we inevitably do expand i'll expand the map and it's no hassle for me, people can help me with it, just want to know if people would support :)
