For the first time last week, my achilles was starting to hurt quite a bit while on a walk. I wasn't carrying anything heavy so idk what happened. So prob gonna walk slowly instead of my normal brisk pace for exercise.
Easing back into things is definitely the way to go. Take it easy, give your achilles a rest, and slowly work your way back to where you were. Best of luck with the recovery, keep us updated on how it goes!

Had a great workout today, doing a back workout which included bodyweight good morning, bent over row, cable lat pulldown, and reverse fly! Finished off with a 30 minute run.
Ooo, maybe this can hold me accountable to start lifting more.
I did back/shoulders today. Started off with a 5 minute light jog to warm-up. Moving into weights by doing some cable lat pulldowns, one arm row while sitting, bent row, lateral/front dumbbell arm raises, then shoulder shrugs.
Tried to maintain 4 sets of 8 reps of each workout with enough weight to max out by the 8th rep.
This week I started gym, for the first time in my life. I never liked the idea of having to keep pushing iron, I've done some activities, like swimming and running, but this time I decided to try the gym. Next week I'll be back to swimming too.
PS: My whole body is hurting lol they say it's normal for the first few weeks.

There are times where I stop working out for about a week to a month at a time and every single time that I have gotten back into it, I have been super sore, especially if I pick up on the weight that I left off on.
Make sure to keep hydrated, eat properly, and get good sleep to allow your body to heal.

Feeling better now. At least it only started to hurt close to my house and not far away where it'd be more of a hinderance.

Nice workout, sounds like you're all over it! Yes, this thread is definitely intended to hold each one of us accountable for each other and to make sure we're getting in our daily exercise! Looking forward to hearing more from you, keep up the good work!

That's really great to hear Lobbs
Exercise in general is so important, and the gym is definitely an incredible tool in that it helps you to just spend time with yourself and your body, and to push the limits as little or as much as you'd like.
I also highly rate swimming, I've heard it's the best form of cardiovascular exercise since it doesn't put any unnecessary strain on any of your joints seeing that you are moving through the water.
