Actually Elon Musk 'has a history of using the US tax code to pay little or no personal federal income taxes'.

Like a lot of these people I guess.

And Elon has now gone full-on paranoid, banning Twitter users from mentioning their presence on Facebook, Instagram, Mastodon, Tribel, Truth Social etc. or using linking services like LinkTree...

Apparently Mr "free speech absolutist" is scared of a little healthy competition...

Probably just a rumour but.... I read this morning that he was trying to get investors while he was at The World Cup, and they agreed on the condition that he stepped down as CEO.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of this, so many rumours flying around.

people have been saying, hes doing this knowing it will out him. as the investors want him out, this way he can save face by going "see im doing what the people want im out"
but obviously theres no proof or evidence of this. but is still a thought as obviously the investors in twitter are pissed right now.

This was actually first posted by a known angel investor who claimed to be present when the meetings were happening with the Saudis and Qataris who helped finance the Twitter buyout in the first place. As rumours go, it seems fairly solid.
