A common tactic by Fox News and some other outlets is to trickle-feed facts in order to give the illusion that the whole story has merit. I don't know what they supposedly did to make them not "look too bad", but it's totally irrelevant anyway. To believe one small fact they may have reported somehow absolves them of their actions and consequences of this case is not a good idea.

The ONLY consequences of this case is one media which stated the hidden is being punished while the mainstream is praised for hiding stuff.

People still believe fox news is still the most trustworthy because of stories like the daniel penny story and the fact they actually paid the price "literally" for the 1 inaccuracy they told.
