The vaccine rollout here has been a disaster, thanks to AstraZeneca only delivering 25% of what they promised, and other unnecessary (local) logistical problems.
So no vaccine for me yet. I wouldn't expect to get jabbed before May at the earliest.
~~~~ Just another victim of the ambient morality ~~~~
i'm 50/50 on getting it, but i'm also prob in last group to get it. I hope this will end soon but given what i know about world events and why they happen(our mistakes), I think this event will want us to waste money so i can see a card flipping over to make something happen to derail us back to square 1 again.
vaccines will help, not saying they won't, just saying they aren't the solid "fix". I hope i'm wrong tbh, if i'm correct we're talking 2 more years of this BS
"If you've had the vaccine, what's your experience been with it and what stage are you at?"
I took the vaccine on Saturday at a FEMA site. I took the Johnson and Johnson one dose because I preferred the idea of a "one and done". I'd say the very same day I started experiencing side effects including chills, a fever, and a headache (many CO-VID19 side effects). The arm I received the injection is also still a bit achy.
All in all, I'm doing okay. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't develop superpowers, but I also didn't start climbing walls which I suppose is a good thing as well. Eh?
I wouldn't be surprised if this vaccine is tweaked every year and it becomes an annual vaccination just like the flu jab. The more people that are vaccinated the fewer people there are to catch Covid and therefore less chance for the virus to mutate.
The RNG gods must of been listening, a large majority of me and my colleagues were vaccinated today. We aren't ever privvy to when things are coming, keeps us on our toes so I'm now very relieved
So far 1 day on, I nor any of my colleagues have experienced any side effects
we got given the Oxford jabbo
Edit-- about 2 hours later, several us of developed a fever and fatigue, nothing extreme just felt like a mild cold, some paracetamol and a warm shower won't even know you've had it
I wish I liked Quests as much as I love AFKing
