Seeing this thread pinned really made my day.

I am a pre-op Transgender male. I am also carrying a baby, and it's super weird. At Pridefest last weekend because of the baby, even organizations like the HRC had volunteers who were not able to understand that 'men' can carry children too. It was kind of overwhelming. I often feel alone. Also being pregnant has added to the stress of people saying things and irritating me beyond belief in insisting I am not 'man' enough.

I must confess I'd never heard of 'conversion therapy' until now. I'm not well informed on developments relating to the LGBTQ+ community.

After a swift read, I'd say it would be a bit harsh to deny therapy to people who actually want it just because other people (not even necessarily being LGBTQ+ themselves) find it to be somehow inappropriate.

Such matters would surely be better left for the LGBTQ+ community to reach a conclusion on, not some suits in Whitehall?
