I saw a girl/woman a few weeks back with the aqua, pale blue and whatnot colours. Kind of a peacock blend. Shoulder length in a sort of shaggy style. It looked lovely, I like blues and greens mixed.

Tricky one for the wedding - everyone wants to look their best but yeah, you've got a balancing act of looking wow but also looking like "Mum". Good Luck!

This is the best I could come up with

Oo-er!! What is it?

His "hat" looks like the top tier head part of the mining skilling outfit. I forget what its called.
I will probably revert to the hairstyle I've had for several years but I could let my hair grow longer for several more weeks before having it all cut off. I also think I'll probably leave the colour as it is, at least until after the wedding.
I know of someone who has bright pink hair, she's had it that colour for a few years, and her brother said if she came to his wedding with pink hair she couldn't be in the photos. :( :( I think that's a horrible attitude because its not as if it was a recent change. Surely her brother was used to her hair colour...or maybe it was his fiancee who decreed no pink hair in the wedding photos. :|

I just got back the final, finished version of a song I finally recorded last August after writing it six years ago, and I'm very very happy with it!

Awesome, what an amazing accomplishment :D

Can we hear It?

Dang, forgot it is Thursday, just heard the rubbish truck :|

I don't think I'd care what colour hair anyone had in my wedding photo. I might not personally like their hair colour but it's their hair, not mine, and if that's the 'look' they want then, hmmmm, whatever.

If they asked me if I like it and I didn't then I'd say I didn't but I wouldn't exclude anyone just because I didn't like their hair, lolol ! That'd be a bit .... shallow?

I actually quite like pink hair if it's a good strong pink. On some people, at least. Maybe it's to do with skin tone - like if a natural blonde dyed their hair black it'd probably make them look a bit recently-deceased due to their (probably) fair skin. I look awful with black hair - move over Morticia Addams.

And .... Congrats Nick ! Will we be able to listen to it anywhere?

Fifi, I think we're at an age where people shouldn't have to adhere to those age-old 'rules' of society where you can't dye your hair past the age of 55, nor have long hair after 60.

I don't know who invented those rules, but I don't see any issues with older people having fun hairstyles or colours. It's not like you have any dress codes anymore, you're retired!

I'm looking forward to being 70 with brightly coloured hair and (probably) extensions. Should I have any hair left! lol

I see a lot of older women and the elderly with brightly coloured hair; I think it's awesome. Same with older women going out and getting a tattoo :) some I've seen is full coverage, or just a streak here and there or just their fringe. The elderly what I've noticed they go for more pastel colours.

When I was 10, my grandmother got my ears pierced and her's at the same time and her first time at 60 years of age :D She use to use clip ons.

Old women have been having pastel colours on their hair since forever. As a child we used to call them 'The Blue Rinse Brigade'. I think one could only get blue back then, it looked ok actually - got rid of that yellowing that sometimes happens on grey or white hair.

Then the very, very pale pink started appearing (très chic). I saw one not so long ago with a green rinse - not sure about that one, looked the colour of school dinner cabbage.

Yes, the colours of today are more vibrant. Like crystal silver was a popular elderly colour way back then.
