A 30 year old woman has died from Covid in Australia. If protections aren't in place more people will or could die. The protections are in place to protect people, to get the virus under control.
This is the reason I don't agree with inter-country bubbles, it's just not safe, it puts livelihoods at risk, businesses at risk, peoples health at risk. New Zealand is still at this stage Covid free in our communities, if they stop people from being quarantined for 14 days we will be where you are Australia. You were Covid free in your communities too, they put the shield down and the virus got in - once you are Covid free keep the shields up, don't make bubbles with other countries, it's not safe yet. Protect your people, make everyone go into quarantine, with two negative results before you can be let out of quarantine <- if you do this businesses would be open, people wouldn't be angry.

If Covid gets into my country, NZs vcommunities because they formed bubbles with other countries I will be angry and so will many others.

Anti mask riots just sounds stupid, but other effects on the economy and peoples rights are worth fighting for.

If they keep the bubbles closed, make all people go into quarantine with two negative results NZ, our country will stay on top of the virus, businesses will stay open, jobs secure, no hardship. Sadly the people higher up won't do this...
