I was in the UK for a week last week visiting friends & family but back in Canada now.
Considering I'm flying back over there Dec 18th for 2 weeks, I think I should have just stayed haha. Would have saved me the cost of the new Day 2 PCR test and isolation period
Finally managed to schedule my booster. For something "readily available" it was a lot harder to schedule the booster than the original jabs. I hope this means a lot of unvaccinated are getting their first.

Masks on in Shops and on Public Transport tomorrow.
It's now Compulsory in the UK to wear them. No more slacking off with piss poor excuses. Wear the bleeding mask and do your part.
I never stopped.
I went to a shopping centre today and the number still not wearing masks indoors is worrying. Maybe their excuse is that they're not in a shop... the whole place is in a building so its one massive shop!!. They are selfish
idiots

first day being in shop with masks being needed, didnt have any issues with people not wanting to wear them, all put them on no question, which was a bit surprising. hopefully from now on it be the same, but i doubt it.
^Its been the same here for quite a long time now. Pretty much everyone wears masks everywhere. Its not difficult, just have to do what is recommended.
Yup, Canada (Ontario at least) has kept mask requirements within enclosed settings like supermarkets, restaurants (unless sat at a table) etc which is just an easy thing to do, however minor the inconvenience.
I was shocked (but somewhat expecting it) how laxed the rules on masks were in the UK in contrast.

indeed its not difficult, but i was expecting people to not to after i tell them, "you have to wear a mask, or i cant cut your hair"
in the uk the rule is now back that they have to. so lots of people have gotten use to not bringing a mask or not wearing one.

I assume you're referencing the Australian non-vaccinated rate... But nonetheless it's spam - unless of course you have anything constructive to add to the discussion
