Wearing armour of a different type than your weapon won't reduce hit chance in PVP, because you’ll always have 100% hit chance. Your damage reduction penetration might suffer if your gear is of mixed classes though. This can be polled – do PKers want to be able to wear any armour type with any weapon type without punishment, or should damage reduction penetration be affected? If no punishment, it would synergize all armour in PVP and you’d likely start seeing everyone wearing elder rune – even rangers and mages. I’m ok with that.

allow zeal (or other PVP minigame currency) to repair existing armours as an alternative to coins. This would save a lot of people gp and would have a good chance to revive the content as well. It could be used for all PVP related minigames.

Since repairing all of your gear can cost millions, and most players can make said millions back in 1 hour, I think that zeal should be very generous and roughly provide a full repair for one hour of gameplay. Anything less and players will likely continue to rely purely on coins to repair their armour. You earn on average 5.5 zeal per hour, so I think 6 zeal to repair a full set of high-end gear should be about the required amount to get people playing again.

Minigame AFK-ing would need to be fixed before this is implemented, as it should not pay for gear repairs. Even though skilling can do that... I'll ignore it. Lol.

There is the issue that this will reduce money-sinking... but I'll let others discuss that.

Most of this is QoL stuff and should be added.

Buffs if switching targets in Deathmatch and other PvP minigames (unless I'm mistaken, I don't do PvP minigames) should stay, switching targets in dangerous PvP clearing buffs is a bit more understandable.

Prayer drop should be a channeled threshold for Ranged and Magic but only take 2 ticks to charge up so you can still use the ability in 3 ticks like a non-channel. Melee can keep Havoc/Smash's prayer drop.

QoL = Quality of life

The buffs dropping and adrenaline drain are there so you cant switch from NPC combat to a player and completely destroy them simply because you have almost max adrenaline.

They should be there for NPCs for sure, but I agree that having it take effect when switching players is a bit extreme.

i just realised that there is potential for abuse...

two friends could fight eachother to get adrenaline up. they stop fighting and one of them then chooses to fight with another player, starting this next fight with full adrenaline.

that sure would be unfair.

now I see why you shouldn't keep your adrenaline/buffs when you begin a fight with another player... O_o

Could always make it so they have to have attacked you for you to not lose adrenaline and buffs when switching, so if your in multi and have more than one player on you there isn't any downside to prioritizing which enemy to attack based on the situation. Leader of The Enemy ||

When you switch an action bar keep holding shift until it actually switches, inconvenient, but it won't trigger your ability.

I mainly use melee, I never noticed any abilities not hitting since a long while ago. It was either patched or I haven't been fighting moving targets that much.

What I did notice is that if you use an ability, it will activate even if you can't reach your target. For melee users when their target runs away and binds them, they're forced to cancel what might be a strong threshold for the sake of a smash/barge.

The same issue allows almost 1 ticking two non combo abilities or two hits of a combo ability, so it can be considered as a "feature".

I keep repeating this, debilitate, stuns, prayer removing abilities, binds, and all special effects abilities I forgot should trigger their effect even if the ability splashed, until RNG is properly applied to PvP.

I tested player walking following your comment on my guide.
It appears that you can't walk on someone to cancel their combo ability either so things like asphyxiate and onslaught will hit all the way.

DM points by damage dealt, bad idea. This is not a DPS competition, it's supposed to be a PvP competition.

Third world for BH to merge EoC and Legacy, absolutely no.

TB tabs, too OP.
I like how mages are tasked with TBing people at wars.

Agreed on surge, barge, and escape working in all areas.

Barge needs to work everywhere, at the very least barge since it's more of an offensive ability than a defensive one.

Mandrith returning items lost in the wilderness is a much needed update for BH worlds.

i cant seem to make my qfc link work. this is what happens:

it puts the required text on either side but when i hit post, it stays there and it doesnt update to become a link... like what is supposed to happen, i assume.
