Cool to get new stuff, but I wonder how useful it's actually going to be. Defenders are barely used in P2P outside bosses where you have to tank. Considering KBD requires an anti-dragonshield and the mole doesn't have valuable drops, where-else would you use it? I can't really think of a situation where I'd sacrifice my DPS for some extra protection, as NPC's in F2P aren't that damaging. Even at revenants a 2H weapon would be much better considering you want to K0 them to prevent them from eating. So I'm really not sure howmuch quality of life the defenders add.

I guess potential future content could be the place which will allow them to show their strength - besides the half shield, half off-hand property they also have some neat passive effects: 3 % more accuracy and a 20 % chance to deflect an attack

Which skilling sets?

That was the second half of the former TH-only skilling sets that had been added to a selection of minigames and d&ds. It is a p2p only change for now, but maybe the sets for f2p skills could be made available to f2p via thaler in the future.

Silvarea is kinda pointless. A couple quests and that's it. I've already done them, more than once, and let me tell you, they are painfully quick and simple.

I guess they'll make the following three quests available to free players in that area: broken home (is replayable once weekly for a xp lamp), missing, presumed death (will unlock a new skilling/social hub in the future) and a soul's bane (which is imho an extremely bad idea to convert it to f2p without a full graphical and a partial game mechanical rework - I do not know if the area unlocked afterwards will be good for something in f2p).

One-time content otherwise can keep players also busy for a while - and interesting quests are always a good thing to keep some players attended (yes I know there also are some that aren't interested in it at all)

I'd rather see more QoL stuff. Get rid of corrupt dragon entirely(seriously, degrades too quickly and its unbalanced anyway), give mages some battlestaves and mystic staves of basic elements, maybe make a few of those p2p-only standard prayers f2p(not the chivalry/piety/equivalents)... That kind of stuff. Also f2p fletch please.

As I said - I would love to see the degradation mechanic for corrupt items fixed - and have them slightly lasting longer to make them more appealing.

The problem for staves goes deeper than just making those two available to f2p. Our currently existing tier structure from 1-55 would be:
*1: Staff
*25: White magic staff, p2p only, quest and 400+ black knight kills locked - I am quite sure this thing isn't ever used by anyone really being able to benefit from it
*30: Battlestaff variants, p2p only, slightly expensive and used in p2p crafting training
*40: Mystic staves variants, p2p only, extremely expensive for its tier)
*45: Law staff, 10000 dungeoneering tokens
*50: Ancient staff, p2p only, probably not available to anybody at that tier
*53: Nature staff, 12500 dungeoneering tokens
*55 Gravite staff, 40000 dungeoneering tokens, degrading

I do not really think this can be adequately solved with just a bit of tagging items as f2p and shifting around a few tiers, the items just do not exist - battle/mystic staves on the other hand could be decent as p2p medium leveled niche tier items.

As for prayers I totally agree with and I do not understand why those three prayers had been tagged as p2p only despite not being quest locked or absurdely high leveled. I'll add at a later point this along with some more prayer changes

I actually like how the can be obtained in P2P (through actual skilling), it's just a shame it has been locked behind Invention.

Albeit this does only affect the elite skilling sets - and I think having high levels for those is fair enough - another option would be getting the sets via vic (I do not really know which of the old sets are permanently part of the TH nowadays) - Barbarian Assault is a good ingame source for bxp after all. The simple xp boosting sets are part of minigames or skilling activities (and as far as I can evaluate: Significantly better implemented than older sets like black ibis)

The Wilderness hard task, which requires one to kill the Chaos Elemental having dealt the most damage to it, is reflected as being doable in the achievements tab. However, there seems to be no way to complete it at the moment, even if one were to solo. There's also another achievement which requires one to kill the KBD whilst wearing 6 pieces of Black D'hide. That is impossible to do in F2P as Black D'hide can't be equipped. It seems like Jagex have simply ported over all the KBD and Chaos Elemental challenges without having considered if they were actually doable or not.

Some feedback on the shop changes:

- "The items sold in following amounts" should be changed to reflect the current state:
* T1-20 equipment: 10
* T25 equipment: 8
* T30 equipment: 5
* T40 equipment: 2
* T50 equipment: 1
* Dragon weapons: 1 (if the shop stocks other types of items), 4 (if the shop stocks exclusively dragon weapons)
- It seems that p2p shops do follow the equipment limitation of tier 40 as well. As a result, I would remove the reference to low-levelled p2p areas stocking equipment up to t50.
- Martin Twait does sell knives and claws: up to adamant. Given that most shops (even in p2p) no longer sell rune items, and all dragon-selling shops are quest-locked, I think these can be removed.
- Champions' Guild now sells rune hatchets, so there's no need for f2pers for another shop which sells rune hatchets.
- Given that Champions' Guild now sells rune battleaxes, scimitars and 2h swords, Bandit Duty Free no longer needs the rune weapons added to its shop stock.

Hi and thanks a lot for the feedback - certainly quite a few good catches:

- Fewer items based on the tier actually sounds fine, but I do not like the factor items were scaled down for the sake of inventors (and an actually working gold sink). I'll adjust it though to levels of how I would like to see them as the idea itself isn't that bad. The white knight armour should remain an exception as it finally was given a use with invention.
- I scrambled down areas roughly around how they were done in DarkScape - with the free areas (bar the wilderness) being the green ones and the areas first entered when becoming a member the yellow ones with better stores (albeit I didn't worked that out too extensively yet for a f2p feedback thread). My intention though for stores selling rune equipment and equivalents was to sell them following the guidelines (even though I only provided examples for p2p areas entered shortly after become one for the first time). A logical continuation would be selling t60 items (non dragon stuff) in red areas.
- Rune hatchets are a good catch, I had them as a counterpart to the pickaxe store in the dwarven mines. Having them ingame now certainly helped f2p ironmen a lot, so an exception for bob actually isn't needed anymore.
- I'll adjust the bandit duty free slightly to keep it relevant for ironmen (as the whole camp doesn't has any use anymore for free players since the wilderness rework)
