Good suggested, I understand the idea. But PLEASE NO. Instanced worlds imo destroy the community. It's important to interact with eachother, and learn. Not being split into instanced worlds and never see eachother again.
I'm not kidnapped, I think?
In one way, it may lessen the current players in the current wilderness,
but in another way, the new instanced wilderness will bring together all players from all worlds into one single instance. This would actually increase player interaction, not lessen it.
(it's not 1 instance per world, it's 1 instance for
all
worlds combined)

I hope you see how positive an additional instanced wilderness could turn out.
What would be the use than of the normal wildy? People could extract resources unlimitedly. People who would be less likely be pked. Maybe limit the amount of worlds where one could enter the wildy? That would also increase interactions... Although people would get pked more often too. I like the idea of more interaction, but not at a cost of losing people. There is also an option like u mention in the gamer's grotto (PVP portal). Maybe ur idea could be, change that pvp portal to 1 instanced portal across all worlds.

The normal wilderness wouldn't change, it will be used exactly how it is now.
I have made certain rewards, purchasable with wilderness points from the new wild, that are to be exclusively used in the regular wilderness. This will promote the regular wilderness and hopefully bring in more players.
If it turns out that too many players leave the regular wilderness because they prefer the new wild, your idea to limit the ability to enter the wilderness to a few worlds would be a reasonable solution to that potential problem.
Yes, that could be done for the red portal too, but some players might not like that idea.
^ That's what the single-way toggle is for.
A whole can is powerless to those that are in single-way.
Clans have always been a part of what the wilderness is. Having big clan wars is fun.
There could be many greedy clans. More war. More PVP. It's all good.
I like how thought out this idea is and I think it's well worth the bump I'm about to give it.
Quick take tho on this line: "Undecided: you may not be able to log out at all in The New Wild unless you are in The Fog)." This isn't really possible because if someone disconnects or just outright closes the window the only other option would be for them to die and respawn elsewhere, or just outright respawn elsewhere which again makes this rule senseless.

You may want to clarify what you mean by instance in the original post by comparing it to the brassica vs marimbo instance or something
