If you're on the edge and still trying to decide if you want to keep your gold party hat, or maybe you want to buy another one, or buy many to hold on to for that matter, don't be distracted by what those in this thread are claiming that "it won't rise much, or it'll be years till it's worth something". It will, and it will irregardless of it's current value. Buy now, don't wait. I would would bet many, even the most reluctant players in this thread, are probably some of the current & biggest hoarders of them. Once the event is over January 2nd watch it go over max cash by the end of the month.

yeah people should be diamond-handing their gphats, most definitely shouldn't be trading them away for trash like green santa that jagex is openly stating will come back in perpetuity to sell boatloads of keys every year. Ain't gunna be anymore gphats, ever.
